I don't have any SQL Errors in the log, just the one during Member Map installation.

I'll have a look at the mysql slow query log...

  • That is correct. I have thought about making this a paid app many times before, both for the 4.4 and 4.3 version. And the price I'm placing on this now is the same I planned to put on it back then. (I

Seemed to be a timing issue, e.g. another task was running atm.

The second try went fine, all is running :)

Thanks for listening

Great application. have been using in on the site for a while. Now trying to explore how much more i can get out of it.

1. is there a way to replace the default icon?

2. is ther a way to allow people to add custom markers?

3. would be great to have this integrated with other things that have locations. Calendar would be a great a example.  Having a map with all upcoming events.

Thanks for all the hard work!

Notifications are managed with the centralised system.

My Settings > Notification Options > Uncheck the notifications you don't want to receive.

Thank you,

I looked through there and didn't see member maps.

Somehow I see I see it now.

Thank you.

Sorry, default marker.

Hi Steve,

The colour can be changed via CSS (I see you've already done that!). The icons are hardcoded in the JavaScript, they're fontawesome icons, so they can be easily changed by changing the class name. Look on line 271 of jq.membermap.js

Thank you. Change has been made

I've got an old version of this hook still using Google Maps.

Can I upgrade to the new version with out losing data?

Yep!

I've just uploaded a bug fix release to the Marketplace.

Steve,

I made a small change to the JavaScript to make customisation easier. Both icon names are now in variables near the top of the file.

var membermap =
{
	homeIcon: 'fa-home',
	userIcon: 'fa-user',

Is there a way to add the map in the sidebar?

I report you a little bug:

1. Custom Markers -> Group Marker Icon text field crop text at 15 chars and some FA have more chars

ex:

 fa-shopping-cart become fa-shopping-ca

Hi Erik,

You would need to revert any template or CSS changes made to Membermap, they will not be compatible with the new version.

It's not an issue with Membermap, but it does look like you have a slow query locking the table. I would suggest submitting a support ticket to IPS.

Any know places where to look?It's been so long since I've done anything with this.

I think the only thing I did change was I had asked if on the map if I could display more info under the members name.

Any idea where I could revert that from?

Weird, I can circumvent the issue by inserting the following code from mapProfile template to mapTemplate:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.2.0/css/font-awesome.min.css">

This works, still don't know what has changed to show this error?

It is odd, the main map page adds the CSS to the document head ( $this->registry->output->addToDocumentHead() ).

Can you send me a PM with an ACP login ?

Where do I find the more detailed instructions on how to install the Member Map?

I am new to IPBoard and saying "Upload all files/folders to your forum." just doesn't quite work for me.
