aia Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Just wanted to say thanks because after 4.3.5 you're started to make detailed changelogs where we can see not only new features but also bug fixes. Thanks :)
Management Matt Posted June 5, 2019 Management Posted June 5, 2019 I'll take the credit, even though it was really @Mark who pushed for it.
Mark Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 It took a lot of careful consideration and elaborate engineering to come up with the sophisticated solution for keeping track of the entries. But I think it was worth the blood, sweat and tears I poured into it. (It's a .txt file)
All Astronauts Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I'll also chime in on behalf of the usual lot. I/we cannot emphasize enough the amount of work this saves 3rd party devs. In a minute or two we get the full lay of the land of a new release and can instantly see where any of our own junk may hit problems, see improvements, or get waiting fixes - where before it was either shrug and hope for the best or diff the hell out of a rather large amount of files. I'll even repeat myself - the amount of time, work, and worry this saves 3rd party devs cannot be overstated.
Fast Lane! Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 This is a critical tool. It lets me see what's changed, fixed and otherwise if bugs I have seen will be resolved by upgrading.
