PoC2 Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 I just had a poster post a Giphy GIF file in a forum comment. GIFs are not an allowed file type and the Giphy Community Enhancement is not enabled - so how are they still able to do this? On latest version of IPS. BUG?

They are simply posting a link to an image, which is perfectly fine. If you believe it's a BUG, then raise a support ticket.

PoC2 Posted April 23, 2019 Author Posted April 23, 2019 Well, that's a pity. 😐 Will just have to manually enforce it then. Thanks for the replies.
bfarber Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 You can use the URL blacklist feature to blacklist the giphy domain. But otherwise if you allow remotely linked images, then remotely linked images are going to be allowed.
