RMweb Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 On 4.3.6 - is there any way to display a link to an attached image rather than the previously uploaded image itself when a post is quoted please?
bfarber Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Not out of the box unless the poster manually adjusts the quoted text.

Nathan Explosion Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 I could probably build this into my 'Hide content' plugin: Would it be attached images only, or also linked images?

Thanks - I'll have an update for that plugin out once I've completed testing it further. It will do the following: convert linked images within quotes into links convert attached images within quotes into links if an image is within a spoilter then it won't be converted.....it's already reducing excessive screen space by virtue of being in a collapsed spoiler.
RMweb Posted February 6, 2019 Author Posted February 6, 2019 Brilliant, and thank you. Let me know when it's available.

Thanks!
