Morrigan Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 This will drive me nuts if I have to confirm every time I mark a forum as read from the index. Please tell me someone found a way to turn that off.

We have implemented this only for the responsive style, to avoid that people mark accidentally a forum as read.
Morrigan Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 Yeah. I'm getting it on my desktop version. I even get it here @Daniel F
Dean_ Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 I've been marking forums on the desktop version (click icon) and I haven't seen a message. It's pretty much instant when I mark the forum. Tested here on this site, I get no message on Win10, using FF.
Morrigan Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 Yes @Daniel F I've tested both on the list view and the grid view and it happens on both:
Morrigan Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 My computer has the ability to be a touch device however it's not enabled. @Daniel F
Stuart Silvester Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 If it's capable of touch, then you will see the prompt. That's just how the JS detection works at this time, there's no easy way to determine whether your input is via mouse or touch.
Morrigan Posted May 16, 2017 Author Posted May 16, 2017 This makes me so sad. Thanks though @Stuart Silvester
