September 4, 20204 yr Hi, im running 5.5.1 on ipb 4.5.1. When viewing a link like : https://www.duken.nl/forums/links/link/76-private-internet-access-vpn/ the blocks that should be on the right are on the bottom. Looks like a small bug?
September 4, 20204 yr Author the blocks that should be on the right are on the bottom. Is this sidebar on link view?
September 4, 20204 yr Author Yes, only on the link view. I have submitted a new version that fix the sidebar on link view. It's pending approval.

September 21, 20204 yr Author How do I download an update for IPS 4.5 ? You can’t download files from marketplace on 4.5 onwards. You install it via your Admin CP:
September 21, 20204 yr I tried but It doesn't provide access a file for download. I just looked at Manage Your Purchases and Renew Now button is active, but it shows it expires 9/3/21. Or is that the time frame for after the renewal?

September 21, 20204 yr I get: An application is already installed that uses the same Application Key, this application cannot be installed unless the other is removed
September 21, 20204 yr Author I get: An application is already installed that uses the same Application Key, this application cannot be installed unless the other is removed Are you new on IPS 4.5? Have you clicked in the Marketplace notification in your ACP to match files with marketplace?
September 21, 20204 yr Just did my 4.5 update. I did a couple more cache refreshes and the prompt for the Marketplace Setup just showed up. I'll set it up and give it another try.
September 21, 20204 yr Got all the add ons/plugins matched. This time it correctly identified it was an update, not a new install. However I got a new error? There was an error installing the resource, please submit a support ticket for further assistance. Is that your error or IPS error? Edit: Never mind I'm getting it on multiple apps, I'll put a IPS ticket in. Edited September 21, 20204 yr by P15-D24
September 21, 20204 yr Getting a little further but still having issues. The previous error was for a write file permissions so I reset the API dir to 777 from 666. Now Im getting the following error on install: .../applications/links/api/affiliates.php", setting file permissions failed Does the entire application/links dir need to set to 777 to install the update? After the install what should the file permissions be set to?
September 21, 20204 yr Author No. I don’t handle server permission. Submit a ticket to IPS. This is an application like any other out there.
September 25, 20204 yr I just installed the Links Directory app and when I tried to add my first link to https://www.accuweather.com it tells me the link is invalid. I then tried to add a link to a comment in the Invision forums, and it give me a "Status 403: invalid URL" . I've attached screenshots below. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still does the same exact thing. I'm running the latest version of Invision as well.

I'm able to enter any IPS url that a guest can view. The IPS link you tried is viewable by a guest? If not, will end up in the error: no permission. Tried the https://www.accuweather.com and couldn't too. It shows error in two pages that checks http status that I just tested: https://httpstatus.io/ http://www.urlitor.com/ It can be a temporary issue or a redirect issue in their end.
September 25, 20204 yr I see the AccuWeather error now. The Invision forum link I was trying to add isn't viewable by guests (https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/454968-search-within-category/?tab=comments#comment-2806174), most of the links I was trying to sort are this way. This database of links is just for myself, so I'm not worried about the links being viewable to guests. Is there some way I can add these links?
October 2, 20204 yr First off, we believe this app would be very useful for our Tribal community and so we purchased this app. Only to find out that it can only be installed for 4.5. Our Tribal community is currently running in 4.4.10 as we are reluctant to upgrade to 4.5.x for reason of our current plugins might night work with 4.5.x. Eventually we will be upgrading to 4.5.x as soon as the plugins we currently have are 4.5.x ready. In this regard, is there by chance a previous version of Links Directory available that we can install on our 4.4.10 community?
October 2, 20204 yr If you go to the file and look towards the bottom for the change log, click that and choose 5.5.1 then you can download for 4.4.10
