Lince
Hello, I have just installed IPS 4 and when I try to go to RSS notifications it gives a 404 error. To reproduce go to notifications -> show all notifications -> RSS. The url is like this: http://www.server.com/forum/notifications.xml It also happens when you go to: new content -> rss. The url is like this: http://www.server.com/forum/discover/1.xml This two xml files don't exist and neither does the discover directory. Is this working for everybody ? Nathan Explosion
Work fine - those files (and the discover directory) don't exist because they are friendly urls.Look at your ACP, search for 'Friendly' and look at the resulting 2 items - one if for enabling/disabling friendly urls and the other is for customising the urls....and that is where you will see the above urls. Lince
Thanks Daniel, Great reply. I wish I had gotten this reply from the client area when I reported this issue instead of the reply I got. The problem is solved now, it was an issue with the server I use for static content because it wasn't sending the request to apache for .xml files. Regards.
