Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
OctoDev Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Hello, Anyone tested this? It literally breaks the entire site on my site..
Daniel F Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 The Rocket Loader Service from CloudFlare won't work with IPS4 . We need to load some root js code first before other things start executing, and with the feature in Cloudflare here, there is no guarantee of the order that the js is loading.
Tracy Perry Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 That's why some of us refer (on the XF support site) to it as Rocket expLoader. Unless you do numerous JS exceptions in the config of CloudFlare, it will normally break a lot of stuff on numerous forum scripts.

sudo Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 You can exclude scripts from being rolled into the rocket loader file but it requires html edits. Also I personally have issues using rocket loader based js on sites with cloudflare as there are routing issues with my isp cloudflare never/cant fix even though I am on fibre.
sobrenome Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Rocket Loader was working great in our community since the 4.1.12 upgrade. The answer field on the topic page bottom and the reputation buttons don't work on Chrome and Safari. Which are the root js that IPS needs to load? If we exclude it from Rocket Loader it will work fine. Sorry, do not work on Chrome and Firefox. on Safari is fine.
sobrenome Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I did test it. Rocket Loader is breaking the AJAX on Chrome. Curious that it works fine on Safari.
