NoGi Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I’ve noticed that tables don’t resize well with the CKEditor when viewing on a phone. How are others planning on getting around this issue? Given it’s a 3rd party plug-in editor, not sure if raising a bug here on IPS will resolve this?
opentype Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 How is that table created? A CKeditor plugin? I guess it just has width settings that are not meant for mobile. The result you see would then be expected and “correct” in a sense. You might be able to override this with custom CSS code, but the best solution would be that the table would be created with mobile-friendly settings in the first place.
opentype Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 You need to check with them what options for responsive design they offer. I can’t tell anything from just looking at that screenshot.
Nathan Explosion Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Yes via a ckeditor plugin - quick tables Is this the plugin? http://ckeditor.com/addon/doksoft-quick-table-insert
Nathan Explosion Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 If it is the above one, then I'd suggest dropping it and using Table Tools instead:http://ckeditor.com/addon/tabletools
Nathan Explosion Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Download it, log in to your ACP, go to Customization -> (Editor) Toolbars and click Add Button and continue on...
