Yesterday I did buy IP Board, installed it and it works fine.Today I did buy the Pages Beta. When downloading Pages, I had to tick "Pages" and untick "board, chat, calendar". When I finally got to download the file the ZIP was called "IPS Community Suite", probably without "board, chat and calendar" since I did untick those.
But, when I unzip the file it holds all the folders I have from my first installation "admin, applications, datastore, plugins and so on". How do I install this? I just need to install pages since the rest is installed and configured.
Simply upload that content up over your existing installation, then go into the ACP and install Pages via the Applications section.
Even though the new content doesnt include chat, board and calendar?
Are those directories empty?
Yes - those are already installed and configured, as you said. So upload the content of the additional package over the top of the existing installation and then go and install the application via the Applications section in the ACP.
They are filled with things. Thanks, it worked.Is there any documentation available for Pages? I dont understand anything about everything page-related in the admin panel.
