Posted September 1, 201212 yr if a skin can install a settings group we should be able to uninstall them w/o needing INDEV. better yet make it so skin authors cannot install a setting group that cannot be uninstalled like normal hook.
September 1, 201212 yr if a skin can install a settings group we should be able to uninstall them w/o needing INDEV. better yet make it so skin authors cannot install a setting group that cannot be uninstalled like normal hook. if they were installed by a hook, they should be removed with the hook un-install(same for apps), this is on the coder distributing settings xml's instead of a hook.

September 1, 201212 yr Author if they were installed by a hook, they should be removed with the hook un-install(same for apps), this is on the coder distributing settings xml's instead of a hook. yeah that would work, pretty much what I meant by second sentence. this import settings becomes a pita when skin settings have 25 or so settings that need to be deleted 1 by 1 after putting INDEV. The import settings option should really be removed in favor of hooks for importing settings. agreed
