If i set on ACP the server load to 10 does that means that the forum will display a message that the user must come back later when i have the same value on server load on Cpanel WHM?


How can i exclude vip members from this?

I am not very sure about excluding a particular member group but to constrain within 10, you can go to System Settings >> Advance >> CPU Saving and Optimization >> Server Load Limit >> set it to 10.

However i had tried restricting to 5 too, but certain times it does not get restricted, it does get way beyond that but still plays a good role restricting the server load.

What you restrict your server load to should depend upon how many cores your servers proc has.

But to answer your question, basically yes, it is the same as the server load displayed in cPanel/WHM.

I don't know if IPB uses the 1/5/15 minute load average though.
