The Fusion Menu for IP.Board allows you to add a dropdown menu to your board, everywhere the board wrapper is used. Now supports IP.Board 3.3!

You can edit your menus right from the ACP. Implemented as a full IP.Board application, Fusion Menu provides a simple user interface to allow anyone to manage menus.

You don't need to know a single line of HTML, Javascript or CSS to use Fusion Menu. Simply provide some text and a URL (and the URL to an icon, if you want) and that's it.

You can add items to the dropdown menus. From the ACP, you can even see at a glance all the details of all the menu items just by opening up the parent menu for editing.

The Fusion Menu will appear with the background set by your skin so it will fit in perfectly. And if it doesn't, you can modify the CSS used from the ACP. Easy as!

New to Fusion Menu 1.1, Fusion Menu can now take over control of the primary navigation tab bar from IP.Board, allowing you complete control of your community's navigation and better visibility for the parts of your site that you want people to see!

Note: download app_fusionmenu_ipb32.zip for IPB 3.2, or app_fusionmenu_ipb33.zip for IPB 3.3

Please note that support is not provided via the IPS Community for Fusion Menu. Please visit http://www.fusiondigital.co.nz/ipb/fusionmenu/support.html to see your support options.

Important: this download is for IP.Board version 3.3, or 3.2. Your purchase also entitles you to download Fusion Menu for IP.Board 3.1.4 directly from us at http://community.fusiondigital.co.nz/.

Important: Change of mind refunds are not available for purchases from the IPS Marketplace under any circumstances. If you have any questions before purchasing, you can contact us via our support centre at http://support.fusiondigital.co.nz/. More information about Fusion Menu can also be found at http://www.fusiondigital.co.nz/ipb/fusionmenu/.

Known Issues:

  • If you have IP.Content installed, you must disable the IP.Content Menu Bar hook if you wish to use Fusion Menu's Primary Navigation Management. The IP.Content Menu Bar conflicts with this functionality as it does the same thing.

Fusion Menu v1.1.4

The Fusion Menu for IP.Board allows you to add a dropdown menu to your board, everywhere the board wrapper is used. It's easy to use, and costs only $15. We also offer our standard 30-day money-back guarantee. So why not give it a try?

Uh, no? It's never been free?

Actually, the $19 USD price isn't the final price. Initially it's a 1:1 conversion of our NZD price because I hadn't gotten around to converting the current price and factoring an appropriate buffer for exchange rate fluctuations. You'll note the updated price already. You do still get a slight discount by buying directly though, simply because we don't have to factor any outside influences into the price then.

Hi, how do we go about the upgrade for this?

I noticed this on your website...

Purchasers prior to 30th May 2010 will continue to receive major version upgrades free of charge in recognition of the prior absense of a clear statement of this policy.

I purchased mine in March, but I don't know how about getting the free update?

If you've already purchased directly from us, you should continue to receive updates the way you previously did by visiting http://community.fusiondigital.co.nz and logging in with the same email and password you used to purchase in the first place. If you bought prior to 30th May, then you'll need to send us a support ticket via our support centre at http://support.fusiondigital.co.nz to get customer status noted on your forum account.

Why did I get invoiced for this? ( although now canceled ( apparently ))

I have absolutely no idea - I don't have the ability to invoice you. Since I as a resource author have zero control over the marketplace, I wouldn't know where to even begin to investigate that I'm afraid.

Absolutely fantastic mod. This should come out of the box with IPB and it's really amazing that it does not. Thanks for making it!

Thank you for the positive feedback - it makes the hundreds of hours worthwhile to hear that it is helping people achieve what they want to!

How can I left align text on sub menu items? - they are all centered and...

how can I center or left align Header menu?

Can header menu take the style from the skin?

In ACP > Look and Feel > Your Skin > Manage Templates and CSS > CSS > fusionmenu.css, you can tweak the style any way you like. It is possible that the centering is being inherited from your custom skin, as I didn't specify any text alignment in the CSS.

Mat this plugin is a godsend - saves ton of aggravation and headaches - I can get in and get it done...

Some points to ponder...

when the main tab has no target and is only holding sub items the main tab doesn't become selected (highlighted)

Also it would be most helpful to see the Menu tree expanded ( think how the forums look when you choose "show all" )
it would save a lot of clicks ;)

Cheers

Keep up the fine work!
