Hi

easy, active ads allow members to talk/comment/reply to sellers' items
Also, newer ads will bump to top of list, so they will eventually post new ads

expired ones are just there for history browsing

I am not too sure how ebay bidding do, but they seems to keep old expired items also?

Just to let you know about the problem I had after installing this:

http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/310091-extra-forward-slash-after-indexphp/page__p__1949784

The issue is caused by the classified applications you have on your board and not by IP.Board itself, specifically the problem is located in the furlTemplates.php file of the application that defines a furl template "index" for the main app link instead of using "app=classifieds".

Hi Andy

Find a issue? how to remove someone's ALL classifieds?

we have a spammer and we want to remove all of his posts

We go to ACP and click delete all member' post, not working

There's no easy way to do this currently, you can do it individually or if there are far too many to do it that way I'll knock up some queries you can run using the ACP SQL toolbox.

He also needs to wait until after 3.1 final is out and the classifieds tested with 3.1

Yep this will fall into place nicely, I'll also add some notification support in. I've also started planning support for payment processing using Nexus.

I know it's probably too early to have this for 3.1... when I install this to a 3.1 board, everything looks ok except for when you try to add an item. I get a "could not locate" message come up. That's it... no link no nothing. Any ideas how to solve it (if at all?)

Hi Mike. I'm aware of the issue and will release a compatibility upgrade as soon as the 3.1 upgrade rush is over. Thanks for pointing it out.

Is it a 3rd party application ? if it is, it sounds like it doesn't support 3.1 yet.

It is an app written by myself and is not yet compatible with 3.1

It is not officially supported by IPS

Oh duh!

Had that many tabs open, I just assumed it was a general support topic.

Hi Andy,

I'm a new customer who just converted my Boating Forum from VB to IPB. One of the components of my previous VB website that I have had to abandon was the Boating Classifieds which were powered by VB compatible Photopost Classifieds.

I posted elsewhere in these forums asking for advice before going down the PP route again and was referred here. :)

I'm a non techie so would need someone competent to install your new product for me...

Any idea when I can buy it from IP?

Kind regards,

Stuart
