Management Matt Posted September 19, 2006 Management Posted September 19, 2006 If you are receiving any strange issues, such as javascript errors or you're finding a lot of the new functions don't work - please make sure you empty your browser's cache to ensure that you are not getting cached copies of the old javascript.
MrWante Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Uh oh, who left this open? :whistle:Didn't know feedback topics are supposed to be closed?Bes
Quillz Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I've emptied my cache back when Beta 1 was introduced and everything has been fine ever since!
JohnMDonovan Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I've emptied my cache (both on IE and Firefox) and the editor functions still won't work on my 2.2.0 RC1 installation. However, those same functions work just fine here.Pages still load with an error:Line: 2Char: 1518Error: 'ipsclass' is undefinedCode: 0URL: my_test_site_URLAny thoughts? Thanks in-advance.-john
!!aardvaark Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Same here: same line, different character, but essentially the error is reported the same in the browser window (very bottom left)Perhaps its a IE7 thing? as Firefox reports no error

.KX Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I hope the Quick Access links aren't hard-coded rather than being in lang files...(the text for the links). But that is a possibility.

Working4computers Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 How do you empty your cache? :huh:It depends what browser you are using.Firefox:ToolsClear Private Data!IE:ToolsInternet OptionsErrrm.... I have IE7...Do you?
princetontiger Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Or press F5.When viewing a topic, I get an error that says on the bottom left line 235 has a problem.
Guest Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 F5 might not be sufficent if you use firefox use CTRL+F5 to hard-refresh, if you use IE I believe pressing shift-F5 accomplishes a hard-refresh too.
bïöµï¢ Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 if you use firefox use CTRL+F5 to hard-refresh, if you use IE I believe pressing shift-F5Actually it's exactly the other-way-round :)
ZuCruTrooper2 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 No, Peter is right. Shift-F5 does nothing in Firefox. Control-F5 refreshes and clears the cache.
Strange_Will Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Apparently firefox has a nasty problem of letting go of cached data....I had it pulling up a cached blackboard page... meaning I wasn't getting homework from class... ugh!
borbjo Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Hi,we're also experiencing this problem with the latest release (2.2.0).I've cleared my cache but that didn't fix anything.Anyone know how to fix it?
