If you are receiving any strange issues, such as javascript errors or you're finding a lot of the new functions don't work - please make sure you empty your browser's cache to ensure that you are not getting cached copies of the old javascript.

Bes

I've emptied my cache back when Beta 1 was introduced and everything has been fine ever since!

I've emptied my cache (both on IE and Firefox) and the editor functions still won't work on my 2.2.0 RC1 installation. However, those same functions work just fine here.

Pages still load with an error:

Line: 2
Char: 1518
Error: 'ipsclass' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: my_test_site_URL

Any thoughts?

Thanks in-advance.

Same here: same line, different character, but essentially the error is reported the same in the browser window (very bottom left)
Perhaps its a IE7 thing? as Firefox reports no error

I hope the Quick Access links aren't hard-coded rather than being in lang files...(the text for the links). But that is a possibility.

It depends what browser you are using.

Firefox:
Tools
Clear Private Data!

IE:
Tools
Internet Options
Errrm.... I have IE7...

Do you?

Or press F5.

When viewing a topic, I get an error that says on the bottom left line 235 has a problem.

F5 might not be sufficent if you use firefox use CTRL+F5 to hard-refresh, if you use IE I believe pressing shift-F5 accomplishes a hard-refresh too.

Actually it's exactly the other-way-round :)

No, Peter is right. Shift-F5 does nothing in Firefox. Control-F5 refreshes and clears the cache.

Apparently firefox has a nasty problem of letting go of cached data....

I had it pulling up a cached blackboard page... meaning I wasn't getting homework from class... ugh!

Hi,

we're also experiencing this problem with the latest release (2.2.0).

I've cleared my cache but that didn't fix anything.

Anyone know how to fix it?
