I can see that files have been written to the datastore folder as recent as 3 minutes ago so the software definitely can write to the datastore folder.

I can't think of any reason why that error would be generated if that file did exist. I did have a quick look for that exact file and it doesn't exist but I'm not sure if that's because the software deleted it.

Clearing cache doesn't solve it, and the errors are anywhere between every 15 and 60 mins.

I'm in the middle of moving storage to Amazon S3. Safe to clear cache while that process is happening?

We finally updated to PHP8 and latest Invision this week after delays with app/plugin updates.

We have a repeating error showing up in the System Logs, and despite wanting to get to the bottom of it, it also made curious on how Support and other knowledgable Invision admins decipher what's going on from System Logs. Can anyone give me some basic guidance on what to make of this, and what to look for when looking at System Logs please?

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for us in our large community. Too many false positives due to Apple's VPN with iCloud Private Relay (https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT212614) - and no way to whitelist IPs or usernames to prevent them from filling up the notifications list. Only option provided was to may nearly the same again to have a whitelist feature added. 

Still interested in anyone who can take over and update this now abandoned plugin as it worked perfectly.

I've got a similar problem. I have confirmed user has email notifications turned on. I have checked Sendgrid, and there is no trace of the email notification being sent at all - I changed their email to a different provider just in case, replied to one of their threads, and still nothing is being sent. It seems isolated, but I can't find any reason whatsoever why this user's notification settings are not working as expected. No Email Error logs, and no records in Sendgrid of Invision ever sending anything.

Any ideas where else I could hunt this down?

As this project seems dead, anyone recommend an alternative?

MAD Multiple Account Detector doesn't have quite the same functionality nor ease of finding duplicates.

We have resolved this. It was the application Drip Campaigns - we had a drip setup so that if a member moves into the Member Group (say, when they are promoted from New Member group or similar) - it would send them an email.  Drip Campaigns works flawlessly for us with managing new member registrations - however it seems to have come unstuck with a mass member group move. Lesson learned.

There's several tasks causing the 500 Server Error which is stopping the tasks from running.

Hosts have been monitoring it all day.

We've raised the timeout and thrown more resources at the server (128Mb RAM) and it's working hard, but not sure its every going to complete them.

This seems to have predominantly started when we initiated the move of 34,000 members from one group into another. Ever since then all these other tasks have started backing up and just won't run.

Have updated to 4.7.2.1 in the hope it might help something. Sadly, it hasn't and has added a Forum Count Rebuild to the task list as well now.
