I cannot see any license on your account with the ID you mentioned. If you would like to screenshot what you are seeing and send in a request to accounts on the contact form below, we can advise accordingly

I have an empty license slot which was not pointed to a website.😅

In that case, you would want option 2 in that list. Edit the baseurl to point to a different (hopefully working) repository. 🙂

Also MariaDB may be already in one of those other channels you subscribe to. You might want to confirm that before spending time on adding different repos.

If it is, just remove the bad repo and call it a day. If not, find an alternative and add it and disable the bad one.

    Thanks Randy, it helps 👍

The MariaDB repo you're trying to call is not responding.  In looking at the URL (http://yum.mariadb.org/10.2/centos7-amd64/repodata/repomd.xml), it shows up as a 404 error.  So yes...  it indeed does look to be a bad repo.

The output above actually gives you your available options...  you can permanently disable that repo by running:

    yum-config-manager --disable mariadb

Thanks. But if I permanently disable that repo, can yum upgrade MariaDB in the future? or should I add a new repo?

We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.

We look forward to further assisting you.

Thanks, Marc. I have updated the access details. Btw, I found the 2 sites (in the client area) have the same problem, so it's not a translation issue of the language pack.

It may be the language strings _date_format_yyyy and _date_format_mm. They have those values, although aren't necessarily used there. It's worth checking, though.

Thanks, I checked the strings, they seemed not the ones in the selection box.

There are also some areas in which are set by the locale on your language pack. Have yuou ensured you are using the correct language locale?

Thanks. I checked the language locale, it is correct. Maybe it's a bug? Because the 'Day' in the selection box was translated correct, and it was not translated by me.

  6. Hi m8s,

Does anyone know how to fix this MariaDB yum upgrade error?

    Thanks in advance!

To address this issue please refer to the below wiki article

    https://wiki.centos.org/yum-errors

If above article doesn't help to resolve this issue please use https://bugs.centos.org/.

One of the configured repositories failed (MariaDB),
and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only
safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this:

         1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem.

         2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working
upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer
distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the
packages for the previous distribution release still work).

         3. Run the command with the repository temporarily disabled
                yum --disablerepo=mariadb ...

         4. Disable the repository permanently, so yum won't use it by default. Yum
will then just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it
again or use --enablerepo for temporary usage:

                yum-config-manager --disable mariadb
            or
                subscription-manager repos --disable=mariadb

         5. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable.
Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands,
so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much
slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice
            compromise:

                yum-config-manager --save --setopt=mariadb.skip_if_unavailable=true

failure: repodata/repomd.xml from mariadb: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
    http://yum.mariadb.org/10.2/centos7-amd64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found

  7. Hi m8s,

When I ran yum upgrade today, it told me the error below.

    Quote

warning: /var/cache/yum/x86_64/7/city-fan.org/packages/perl-Clone-0.46-1.rhel7.x86_64.rpm: Header V4 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID 98661eb8: NOKEY
    Retrieving key from file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-city-fan.org

The GPG keys listed for the "city-fan.org repository for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (and clones) 7 (x86_64)" repository are already installed but they are not correct for this package.
Check that the correct key URLs are configured for this repository.

     Failing package is: perl-Clone-0.46-1.rhel7.x86_64
GPG Keys are configured as: file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-city-fan.org

Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Thanks!

  8. Hello,

I used the Safari browser on an iPhone to access my website gallery and directyly shot and uploaded a video onto it. The video can be played well in the Safari browser on the iPhone, while on a PC with Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge browser, there is an "Unsupported Plugin" error when I play the video. Is it a outdated flash plugin or something?

    Any tips on it? Thanks!
