Thanks m8s, it was because of the 3rd party plugins. 😁

Hello,
I have a board license stop renewal in v2.3.5. What if I renew the license right now, will the board upgrade to the latest version?
Thanks.

Gallery 500 error after upgraded to 4.7.7
Tested in 2 websites.

Hello,
I remembered I can set a forum to contain all the posts that the moderators deleted. Does this feature still exist in V4.x? I didn't find it in ACP.
Thanks.

😅 I see. Thank you.

In that case, you would want option 2 in that list. Edit the baseurl to point to a different (hopefully working) repository. 🙂
Also MariaDB may be already in one of those other channels you subscribe to. You might want to confirm that before spending time on adding different repos.
If it is, just remove the bad repo and call it a day. If not, find an alternative and add it and disable the bad one.
Thanks Randy, it helps 👍

The MariaDB repo you're trying to call is not responding. In looking at the URL (http://yum.mariadb.org/10.2/centos7-amd64/repodata/repomd.xml), it shows up as a 404 error. So yes... it indeed does look to be a bad repo.
The output above actually gives you your available options... you can permanently disable that repo by running:
yum-config-manager --disable mariadb
Thanks. But if I permanently disable that repo, can yum upgrade MariaDB in the future? or should I add a new repo?

We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.
We look forward to further assisting you.
Thanks, Marc. I have updated the access details. Btw, I found the 2 sites (in the client area) have the same problem, so it's not a translation issue of the language pack.

It may be the language strings _date_format_yyyy and _date_format_mm. They have those values, although aren't necessarily used there. It's worth checking, though.
Thanks, I checked the strings, they seemed not the ones in the selection box.
3 hours ago, Marc Stridgen said:There are also some areas in which are set by the locale on your language pack. Have yuou ensured you are using the correct language locale?
Thanks. I checked the language locale, it is correct. Maybe it's a bug? Because the 'Day' in the selection box was translated correct, and it was not translated by me.
-
Hello,
I don't know somehow the date selection box were 33% translated and I don't know where to translate the 'yyyy' and 'mm' parts.
Any tips? Thanks.

Hi m8s,
Does anyone know how to fix this MariaDB yum upgrade error?
Thanks in advance!
[root@sychn ~]# yum clean all Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Cleaning repos: base city-fan.org epel extras mariadb remi-php80 remi-safe : updates Cleaning up list of fastest mirrors Other repos take up 3.0 M of disk space (use --verbose for details) [root@sychn ~]# rm -rf /var/cache/yum/* [root@sychn ~]# yum upgrade Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Determining fastest mirrors * city-fan.org: www.city-fan.org * remi-php80: ftp.riken.jp * remi-safe: ftp.riken.jp base | 3.6 kB 00:00 city-fan.org | 3.0 kB 00:00 epel | 4.7 kB 00:00 extras | 2.9 kB 00:00 http://yum.mariadb.org/10.2/centos7-amd64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found Trying other mirror. To address this issue please refer to the below wiki article https://wiki.centos.org/yum-errors If above article doesn't help to resolve this issue please use https://bugs.centos.org/. One of the configured repositories failed (MariaDB), and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this: 1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem. 2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the packages for the previous distribution release still work). 3. Run the command with the repository temporarily disabled yum --disablerepo=mariadb ... 4. Disable the repository permanently, so yum won't use it by default. Yum will then just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it again or use --enablerepo for temporary usage: yum-config-manager --disable mariadb or subscription-manager repos --disable=mariadb 5. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable. Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands, so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice compromise: yum-config-manager --save --setopt=mariadb.skip_if_unavailable=true failure: repodata/repomd.xml from mariadb: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. http://yum.mariadb.org/10.2/centos7-amd64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found

You need to import the package key so it is accepted.
rpm --import https://mirror.city-fan.org/ftp/contrib/GPG-KEYS/RPM-GPG-KEY-city-fan.org-rhel-7
Thanks, m8. It works!

Thank you, m8s. Don't know why almost all of the photos in Gallery post years ago were featured. It took me almost an hour to unfeatured them. 😅

Hi m8s,
When I ran yum upgrade today, it told me the error below.
Quotewarning: /var/cache/yum/x86_64/7/city-fan.org/packages/perl-Clone-0.46-1.rhel7.x86_64.rpm: Header V4 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID 98661eb8: NOKEY
Retrieving key from file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-city-fan.org
The GPG keys listed for the "city-fan.org repository for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (and clones) 7 (x86_64)" repository are already installed but they are not correct for this package.
Check that the correct key URLs are configured for this repository.
Failing package is: perl-Clone-0.46-1.rhel7.x86_64
GPG Keys are configured as: file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-city-fan.org
Does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks!

Hi m8s,
Is there any fast way to unfeature featured photos?
Thanks.

Hello,
I used the Safari browser on an iPhone to access my website gallery and directyly shot and uploaded a video onto it. The video can be played well in the Safari browser on the iPhone, while on a PC with Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge browser, there is an "Unsupported Plugin" error when I play the video. Is it a outdated flash plugin or something?
Any tips on it? Thanks!

You can't; there is no option/setting for this but there goes a tiny plugin to do it:
Remove New Images Block in Gallery Index 1.0.0.xml 1.86 kB · 3 downloads
Thanks. It works. 👍
-
Hello,
Is there a switch that can close the “New Images” block in Gallery index page?
Thanks.
-
The video is in a format of .mp4, the OS is Windows 11 and the browser is Microsoft Edge.

Hello,
The thumbnail size setup function of the screenshots is too weak in Downloads of current version. It would be much better if we could set the dimensions or the file size of the thumbnail and let the system to do the scaling job. If I uploaded a 5MB picture as a screenshot, then it would show up as the original size which is very slow sometimes.
Thanks.

Hello,
Are there any settings of showing the directories directly when users click the [Downloads] button?
By default, the [Downloads] button pointed to /files/, if I want to set it to /files/directories, are there any settings to do it? Or editing the Menu is the only way?
Thanks.
