maybe this dip is normal for this report as it doesn't update in real time? Perhaps I wrongly assumed that's why I had 3 complaints from customers this morning saying they have the bounced email warning? -
I sent myself a test email and still got it.. but AWS is acting like it's not getting any requests Which is causing my Mail Bouncer app to freak out

I've changed nothing but suddenly SES is acting like my site hasn't send any email requests. How can I trouble shoot this ?

I agree, 3 days will give me time to track it down. I don't think it's back up related. I have daily back ups. dedicated Nothing but IPB runs on this machine unfortunately I noticed the spikes after they had stopped. So we will have to wait till the next one begins and I will be digging into all the running processes. I will hang tight for about 5 days

HI Thank you both of you. I also have htop I have nixstat subscription and I was going through every single metric to see if anything jumped out at me and I found one really weird thing. Every 5 days there is a BIG (HUGE) spike in I/O READS that lasts 3 days, even though writes and TPS doesn't change. Not sure if this is correlated to the high load as the patterns don't match exactly but... this seems suspicious

As the topic title asks, why is it so difficult to troubleshoot root causes of high server load? I have had server load going from around 15 and spiking all the way up to 50, 60 or even 80 Then it goes back down after a while. However, it's really difficult to troubleshoot. There must be a better way to isolate the issue? Any tips? Thank you

I have it set that any ACP login should trigger 2FA, but it just doesn't happen. How do I trouble shoot? Any help appreciated! Thank you 🙂

Hi Maxmind has announced some changes coming. Will this affect those of us who are currently using MaxMind legacy minFraud through the ACP? https://blog.maxmind.com/2020/06/15/data-changes-to-geoip-legacy-and-minfraud-legacy-web-services-in-may-2022/ Thank you 🙂

HI I would love the option to EXCLUDE certain authors. Or even certain tags. As only include options exist there isn't enough flexibility. Can a plugin be made to add some exclude options? Thank you

I have noticed lot's of failed ACP attempts. How secure is the ACP? Are there any tips to harden security? Thank you in advance.

How does this effect the site owners cut of the profit? Suppose site owner get's 20% $10 file sells site owner get's $2.00 and contributor get's $8 Now suppose 80% off coupon is issued by contributor. What happens? I would think file would sell for $2.00, site owner would get $0.40 and contributor gets $1.60 Is that right? What if site owner ALSO has transaction fee's enabled? Hopefully coupon can't be so low that those end up negative for the contributor. Thank you 🙂

HI A member on my site had a great idea! Basically it would be to make the Topic line new content indicator different depending on if new posts contain attachments or not. In the example the icon in the (new post) line indicates new posts in that thread that do NOT have any new attachments In the example the icon in the (New Content) line indicates new posts in that thread some of which DO HAVE new attachments (although a paper clip might be a better icon than a flame) Thoughts? Thank you

How to find TOP_DOWNLOADS widget running on my site?

I can see the query running on my server but I have removed the widget everywhere that I can find. Yet it's still running /*IPS\downloads\widgets\_topDownloads::render:99*/ SELECT dfid, count(*) AS downloads FROM `downloads_downloads` LEFT JOIN `downloads_files` ON dfi d=file_id WHERE file_cat IN(2,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21) AND dtime>? GROUP BY `dfid` ORDER BY downloads DESC LIMIT 3 This query always runs slowly and I need it to stop running. Any way to find where this mystery widget is running so I can get rid of it? OR.... Any way in the ACP to simply turn this off regardless of where it is running? Any help appreciated Thank you

For whatever it's worth, I have found the legacy version of MAXMIND to be fantastic. Really effective and good at what it does.

HI, In order to get it working you will have to request that Maxmind offer you access to the legacy API That's the only option right now Thank you 🙂
