Thanks Marc, I marked invoice as paid and when my turn comes, Ill provide them with a new pending invoice.
-
Is there any other way, we can mark this invoice as paid, and once they open my ticket, ill provide them with a new pending invoice.
-
Hi @Marc Stridgen Im afraid Charles isn't reachable over the email you've provided.
It's been over 6 hours and I have not received any reply to my 4 emails yet.
I simply request you to remind the advance support to diagnose the issue asap, so that we can manually mark as paid invoice for our paying member.
-
Alright, sorry I missed that. Please go ahead and disable it and try to enable it as soon as you can.
-
Hope you are checking now Invoice 12737...?
Please let me know once you are done with the diagnosis so we can manually mark it as paid, because during this frozen period member still don't have access to our site.

Yes. Please do not mark them. Theyt would not be immediately marked as paid, as paypal do not sent them immediately. I feel this may actually be what you are missing
No, that's not the case, unfortunately.
If a person doesn't return to carnity from the payment completion page, it will stay pending for days and days.
If a person returns, then everything works magically.
There you go now, check Invoice 12737

So you faced the same issue on an iOS device?
-
Browse carnity.com from any ios device. Site works fine (except payment area).
Step 2: go to any subscription or any product page and try to checkout as guest or member.
Try same from Android or Windows and see, everything works perfectly.

The error you show there is not related to the service worker. That is that the site cannot be reached entirely. Unfortunately that error is not even coming from the software. Its not getting that far. You would need to contact your hosting company regarding this
I understand it seems like a hosting issue, but it isn't.
As it only happening on subscription pages and payment (product) checkout pages and not through the entire site?

I just marked two transactions an hour back.
Will give you a shout on the next one, as soon as it happens.

You did also state you found the issue and it was a bug, but provided no information for this
It was disabling the Pages or other core functions we switched off while testing and it worked. Later we realize it was coincidental.
Please tell me what you need from me for diagnosing the actual issue.

If you have an issue whereby this is not happening, we would require information on this so we can look
Yes please @Marc Stridgen this is happening on every PayPal transaction for us, please help.
-
Our many users are still complaining about not being able to access the site while going through the subscription page or payment checkout process.
Mostly still with iOS (safari).
They receive ERR_Failed message.
-
While using PayPal, when the user completes the payment process (paid by credit card or paypal account), we immediately receive the payment received email.
When the user returns to our site from the payment completion page (by clicking "return to site"), his invoice automatically gets marked as paid.
But if the user does not return to our site from the payment completion page, his invoice shows pending, until the admin manually marks it as paid.
Support: Please advise which setting to tweak for marking PayPal invoice as paid as soon below email triggers, whether the user returns to our site from the same browser or not.
Thanks in advance.
We have had this issue for long time and switched to Stripe.

I do upvote this, thanks @kotaco for raising this.
If you and others here are using an image-intensive community, have you found any workaround or app for discarding the original enormous size images?
Site failing with PHP 8.0
in Technical Problems
Posted
We have recently upgraded the server with PHP 8.0 and since then the site is consistently failing.
Initially, there were 6 outdated plugins that we have removed and updated so that now compatibility scanner shows no issues.
However, our site when PHP 8.0 is enabled still fails to load.
We reported this issue to cPanel and they revert to the below diagnose that our site code still using the "magic quote runtime" deprecated function in index.php.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
