  1. Agreed, update your IPS version and you should be good to go. No need to pay anyone, easy peezy. I have Ehren's themes too, and as stated his version themes typically mimic the theme version number of IPS, unless he specifically states no upgrade needed. In this case you do need to upgrade your community to work with the current theme you have. 🙂
  2. @Tripp★, I would turn all custom plugins off, then one at a time enable each one until you see the error occur, the last one you enabled is likely the culprit. If this is a plugins issue.
  3. Carole, not much help here on that, but I am just curious, how are you relating the IP Gallery to your bbPress forums? Link, embedded, or? Just the logistics of your members posting in an IP Gallery whilst using bbPress for forums makes my head spin 🙂 Or is the IP gallery a static gallery that only you have access too and can upload images too?
  4. Are these still applicable today? They are from 2010 3.x version IP and came default with the software, can I delete these? Thanks for any help.
  5. Good day folks, I am not sure if this is related, but when I visit our Forums page, I am seeing this error intermittingly. Any help or guidance is appreciated, thanks!
  6. @Matt Finger, it appears the issue still exists in 4.7.1, or was the fix going to be a later release? Thanks
  7. I did a search for CleanTalk plugin and returned zero, is it hiding somewhere? Well, I found it, it's by user CleanTalk, called AntiSpam, but only reliable up to V 4.4
  8. Good day folks, I'd like to have the option to delete Spammers and Banned all a single page of listed. Just like we have the option to check mark "All" in forum page to delete or perform some other action in full sweep. At this point if you want to delete a page listed of Spammers or Banned, you have to delete one at a time. Thanks for your consideration
  9. Marc, I disabled Links Directory and the issue still persists. It only errors when I check the Share on Twitter box before submitting content. Here is the error message when trying to submit a topic in the forums, again, even though it errored, the content was still submitted.
  10. Dear folks, intermittently I am getting this error as shown below. It happens when I try to submit content in forums, and other areas and using the native Twitter share check box, I have disabled plugins and applications by third party sources, but it's hard to nail it down since it's just every once in a while. I have not heard any complaints from our members, but it does happen to me. And even though the error does trigger, the content does get submitted anyway. Any direction is greatly appreciated. 🙂 By the way, I can promote to Twitter without issues. Ok, duh, I just saw that the issue was probably caused by the application Links Directory as stated in the header, let me try to disable it and see what happens.
  11. Good day folks, I have upgraded to the latest version of IP, and I activated Php 8.0 at my server and my site went down, I reactivated 7.4 and my site is back up. Any suggestions or direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sorry folks, disregard, I am reading issues reported by other users and I'll follow the recommendations stated in those topics.
  12. I guess I am not understanding how to use it then. How is it used to syndicate content to other locations? Thanks guys.
  13. Good day folks, something I have been trying to figure out is, when I click on an RSS Feed for a forum or any area in my community, I get presented with this error. For example, if you'd like to try it out, just go to this forum for starters: https://thepatriotwoodworker.com/forums/forum/27-general-woodworking/ Then scroll down and choose the RSS Feed for the forum, and see what you are presented with. Any help is greatly appreciated!
  14. As the title states, when we do a search for new member joins in the last 24 hrs, nothing is returned. I made sure we had a new member who joined within the last 24hrs and the search returns all members. Thanks for any help folks!
  15. Ok folks, @Marc Stridgen, disabling specific third party apps and plugins appeared to have resolved this issue, my community is purring along now as light speed page loads, 🙂 Some were outdated and the dev has not updated them as of yet. But really at this point, being without them seems to be fine, we adapt well. Thanks for your feedback!
  16. Just a follow up for those who may have had the same problem as me, the "Community Map" creates a menu tab at time of import and or installation, so go to your menu, and you'll see it. Thanks Martin for maintaining this application, and yes, it's about time you get paid for it!
  17. How is Community Map displayed? Does it over ride Member Map? I can find my Member Map page, but not the Community Map. I've imported Member Map data successfully I think, I really won't know till I see the Community Map, if I can find it. Thanks EDIT: Never mind, found it. 🙂
  18. Thanks guys, disabling third party items I'll do for now, to see if the lagging is coming from any of those. Thanks again.
  19. We had a member use dev tools to look at our page during a lagging period, he pulled this up, he stated it was throwing errors. https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/Swiper/4.4.2/js/swiper.min.js Would this cause the lagging? I don't understand why we are associated with cdn, all our files are served locally.
  20. Jim, thanks much sir, I'll look into those items and tweak them a bit, see if things get more efficient, appreciate your feedback!
  21. I'm seriously considering this, been managing my own since 2014, and it can be a pain. Thanks for the push.
