  1. This is the window which opens up when I want to add cron jobs. I have no clue what to do there. On my old server there was no such problem.
  2. I am getting recurring warning messages in my Admin CP that " Wartungsarbeiten " Maintenance Jobs can not be proceeded on my server and I need to setup the Cron Jobs on my server for that. What would be this ? I have no idea - any help ? Here the warning message in german :
  3. Hey Interferon, thanks for your information. That was really useful. In fact I was thinking about 10% but one person I asked said exactly what you said. And I agree if you put up a referral system somebody probably needs a bigger community themselfes since conversion rates are not really high in general.
  4. Hey guys, I am thinking about to activate the referral feature for my member to engage my members to get other people to join my community and make a subscription.   7. Hey PPlanet, that information was really useful. My backup software lets me select UTF8 or Unicode for the backup. So you would recommend that I select Unicode ? @all - does anybody has the CHMOD information for the directories ? I saw some are set on 755

  9. Hey guys, where do I find instructions how to move the board to a new server ? Do you just upload the files to the new server and setup a database with the same name ? Is there a CHMOD list for the different directories ? You guys see I have a few questions - haven't done it for a few years so I don't remember and maybe things have changed since then 😄 Thanks for your help in forward. HP
  10. Hey guys, how do I change the default language when I have uploaded an other language ? Or even better how do I switch of the language selection and that just the uploaded language works ? Thanks for your help HP
  11. Hey guys, I want to train myself to make my own DB backups and to be able to restore the DB of IPB myself. I am working with Iperius backup software. Does anybody have experience in that and has a few tips for me ? Thanks for your help in forward.
  12. yes it backups twice a day. But I would like to be able to make a backup myself. 🙂 it's approx. 60 MB now - i think it's SSH. I was able to make a backup with PhpMyAdmin and Imperius but the question is which settings have to be made that all is stored and how do I upload the backup to the database of a possible new host ? The upload with PhpMyAdmin does not work with this size as far as I know....
  13. Hey folks, my IPB is getting more and more traffic and I slowly need to think about have backups. Can you guess recommend any tool which works to have on going backups just in case to not have too long downtime in case something happens or to migrate the whole board to an other server. I started to work with Iperius but maybe there is an opensource tool which also works ? Any tip or recommendation would be welcome. Best HP

Hey guys, I have 2 support possibilities which my members can select once they click on the support button ( https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/index.php?/support/ ) Is there a way that on that page ( see link above ) the possible support tickets are displayed ? In the default setting the only appear when you select the department when you start a support ticket. Best HP
  15. Exactly like that - available for any group in the forum. Even Guests - they purchase the ticket and then get the link sended automaticly once the event takes place.
  16. Thanks guys for your suggestions. I thought about the link in a group only forum - but I would like to sell the streaming link to all members and in such case of course it would not work.
  17. Yes thought about this - but such feature would only make sense when the link to the event which is anounced in the calender would only be sent to those who have bought a ticket. That would be an awsome feature.
  18. Hey guys, is there any feature to sell tickets for events created in the calendar of the IPB ? And if not - is such feature planed ? I would like to sell tickets to my members for livestreaming events. HP
  19. Took me a moment to get to this now - thanks for your help. Could also fix my other problem now to avoid Guests to create invoices.
  20. I would also welcome such a feature - also if you can select which member groups can enter the chat rooms.
  21. Does anybody know how to avoid that guests are not allowed to send support tickets in the commerce modul ? I see that you can limit it to members who have choosen a subscription package - but I would like to have everybody expect guest to make a support ticket. Thanks for your help in forward. HP

  23. Does anyone have experience on this topic here. I have quite a number of subscribers in my forum which payed with PayPal on a monthly basis. Some of them have choosen the automatic renewal by PayPal. Now if I change the price of the monthly subscription will that have an effect on those automatic payments ?
