SEO Guru got a reaction from MediaDiGi in SEO Suite
1.Ā Option for an index and no index no follow per forums / clubs /articles and pages.
2. Unique custom URLS without numbers.
3. The option to add meta titles and meta descriptions per forum post / clubs / pages already have it but could be better.
4. Block members by default for search engines, no data should be Indexable for members.
5. Full sitemap ControlĀ
6. Image alt tagsĀ
7. Banners should be different per forum and clubs etc to avoid dupes
8. Canonical Urls
9. Link follow and no follow options on posts, even though Google can now follow regardless, they still honour the no follow attributes in good faithĀ
10. Schema mark upĀ

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but you can set it so that profiles are only accessible by logged in members under permissions in System.

SEO Guru reacted to Sonya* in (Pages) Noindex for some databases -> SEO
Please add a possibility to exclude some databases from search engine indexing. There should be a possibility to add
<meta name="robots" content="noindex" /> to all database records in one database at once (probable via page database), and to exclude certain databases from the sitemap.
Examples:
Databases with thin content, like database relationship records created only to group the main records. Databases with quotes, citation, news snippets - not unique content. Databases created from forum topics, blogs etc. - duplicate content. Thin, not unique and duplicate content is terrible for SEO. It would be perfect if we could control, what databases should be indexed and what not.Ā
Thanks!

I'd recommend removing the online user's widget and restricting access to the online page, assuming this is why you want to spoof it, as not to give new users the impression your site is dead. Having fake users does nothing but discredit your community. It's very obvious as well, no matter how hard you try to hide it.
Being the SEO Guru you are, you should know having relative headers and tags will increase the click-through rate from search engines. You should also try and get as many authentic backlinks as possible to improve your site's reputation, so it ranks higher in search results.
Since you're already willing to drop some cash, invest in a few google ad campaigns, and bid on some keywords to increase traffic. If the topic of your website is too vague, focus on something very specific so your ad ranking is as high as possible. So if your site is about apples and oranges, focus on apples and worry about oranges later.
If you'd prefer the plugin anyways then by all means. I'm not here to judge, just sharing my wisdom. š

SEO Guru got a reaction from Morrigan in Images
OK I can see the issue with regards to the images. It's the mobile browser since Huawei parted ways with Google.... the chrome android browser hasn't been updated for awhile as its restricted in Google play. I've only tested all this on my mobile instead of laptop, otherwise I would of managed to post images sooner.Ā
Tested on another browser and it's lightening fast for posting images.
The software so far is very impressive, more so than when I had vbulletin and mybb. Glad I'm using IPB!Ā
