Anybody have an explanation as to why this occurs and how to fix? You get when trying to install an application via ACP and I'm pretty sure it a privs issue. I'm getting it with member map but when searching I see it appearing in many different applications out of the marketplace. The exact error is 1C133/9 The application you uploaded cannot be installed because it is not a valid application, the archive is corrupt or the file and directory permissions in /applications do not allow it. System log shows Extraction from phar "/tmp/phpca3rIv.tar" failed: Cannot extract "Application.php" to "/usr/home/public_html/forum/applications/membermap/Application.php", setting file permissions failed. But if you set the home dir (In this case membermap) to 777 and re-run, you still get the error. IPS support say talk to the app dev support, app dev says talk to IPS support. Because it shows up on may different apps their has to be a common issue that is screwing up the privs or ownership. I'm now at the point of moving the membermap folder so I can fresh install and hopefully not clobber my existing membermap data. Any ideas or solutions?

What privs should be set for the files in /applications/membermap, 755 or 777?

Bit more info as I have been working with IPS support. They wanted me install a brand new application from a .tar file to test the IPS stuff. I tried it this morning (sticky notes app) and the install had no issues and is functional. IPS feels this indicates something is going on specifically with the membermap install that is causing the issue. IPS support also indicated you should contact them if you think it is something specifically in the IPS product that is causing the install issue. For now, until we get the install issue resolved, I have turned off easycron instead using activity based option for the system tasks. I agree, if we can get a successful update install the easycron issue is probably resolved. Whats the best way to get you the credentials, PM?

After upgrading IPS to 4.4 system tasks were no longer being run automatically and locking. I use easycron for the tasks. IPS support said the problem with easycron not working was because I was running the previous version of membermap (5.3.1). Prior to the IPS 4.4 upgrade easycron had been working without any errors. So that is when I tried to do the membermap upgrade for the 4.4 version of IPS and got the install errors. (In Applications it indicated an upgrade was available) This was a membermap upgrade, not fresh install. Sorry for the confusion.

If I disable the app for now will it stop the issue with easycron? FYI, IPS support said the issue is with the app. I'll give it another try today.

Uploaded the tar file from the marketplace and tried to install via Applications in the IPS Admin center. Which dir permissions to I need to verify?

New user, initial set up going pretty good. Couple questions: Anyway to suppress the duplicate title and question directly underneath i the pop up? Second, how do we edit the tab name? I don't see any way to edit in the menu manager.

Never mind, figured it out.

Problem installing 4.3 IPS/3.5 MM. I don't see "Upload new version" option. Banner for "Update Available" indicates version 3.4.5, not 3.5. If I try to do an install of I get: 2C133/4The application you are attempting to install appears to be installed already. To reinstall the application you must first uninstall it. Do I need to do 3.4.5 first, then or ?

Using IPS 4.2, when I go to upgrade it request a .tar file, but 5.1.0 downloads as a .zip Can I just run it or do I need to unzip, then tar it ?

Pre sale question. Can I have an individual popup associated with a banner ad I directly host (not Google Adsense) so when the user clicks on a specific banner ad a pop up appears with for example, a special discount code. Then after N seconds the pop up disappears and redirects to the banner ads click through website?

I just re-saved them and the formatting was corrected. All good now.

Can this be used to sell ads like the previous version? For example, I allow members to post free text ads, but commercial ads with images had a listing fee. The purchase and check out went through the commerce module so credit cards and paypal could be used. Is that feature still available?

Ok some progress! Have my categories now displaying (was permissions) but my link descriptions look like this: [font=arial]MTSC - 1948, Volume 1-8 An Even Brake[/font][font=arial]Chrysler is a registered trademark of Chrysler LLC. Master Tech series training manuals and videos are the property of Chrysler LLC and are used with permission.[/font] Also previews don't seem to be working. Do they take some time to rebuild?

Uploaded current version to IPS 4.1.14.2. In ACP it show my previously defined categories, plus on the actual links page I have 121 links defined (This is data from my previous IPS 3 install) However no categories show up as being defined on the links page. ( There are no categories available to be displayed.) I checked the support page and it reported about a dozen database queries needed to rum, which were done manually through mysqlphpadmin. No errors were seen. Reran the support check and the database issues were gone. Tried recache, still no categories. Understand your unavailable till the 9/6/16, look forward to hearing from you upon your return.

I got installed after deleting the old version. Got the Mapquest key installed but get a blank screen. At the bottom does say "Showing 343 markers". Suggestions?

Can't install tar file. Had previous version installed on my 3.x board and have a localhost testbed set up with 4.1.10. In the ACP Applications Membermap is listed as an "out of date application" but when I try to upload the tar file I get "We could not find the application your were attempting to update". Do I need to do a new install and if so will I lose all my previous member map records?

Found it :-) I got rid of htaccess for local testing and still had on mod_rewrite in the Friendly URL features section. Setting mod_rewrite to no immediately fixed the issue. Hope this helps someone else!

One more bit of info. On my production system the URLs look like http://p15-d24.com/forum/4-p15-d24-forum/ so apparently I haven't set it up correctly for the local host correctly. Any suggestions?

Ok I identified the problem, hopefully someone can tell me how to fix it! For example the URL being requested is: http://localhost/test_p15d24ph_forum/forum/4-p15-d24-forum/ and it results in an error. However if I add index.php in the URL it works correctly for example: http://localhost/test_p15d24ph_forum/index.php/forum/4-p15-d24-forum/ I'm assuming this is a config issue somewhere so I hoping someone can get me pointed to the right file(s) for a fix.
