  1. Update:
Also topic notifications are being delayed, while long background processes are running.

Some notifications came 10 days after they were supposed to arrive. We had many complaints about no notifications.

So priority impacts functionality as it is now.

    Greetings from Bangkok!

  2. I had to rebuild Achievements and other stuff that has taken a good 10 days now (huge forum).

The problems with the current functionality is that other background processes get completely stuck while big processes are running. I now have over 2,000 processes in wait state... (se attachment)

Any way to push/change so "small" background processes could run asynchronous?

If it's REALLY SPAM or some offtopic stuff, I'm flagging it as no index.

If it's something helpful but outdated, I'm deleting it, but not without creating a redirect to the new helpful content!

It's IMO going to harm you a lot if you delete a topic that ranks very high for your relevant keywords, especially if you're also getting many visitors for it, either from the search engines, or other sites that link to it, so I'm always trying to create an useful redirect target for it.

How do you flag a topic as “no-index”?

Taking a look at your system there, I would advise in the first instance updating to the latest release. You are quite a few versions behind there

We are unable to update until end of year. Is there any dirty way to upgrade the rss-export routine only? Which .php file is it?

Happy to engage any of the freelance coders here to fix our RSS.

  5. We are feeding forum topics via RSS that is imported into Wordpress.

So here is the problem. Every night, our WP portal looks like this: https://d.pr/free/i/XB7WNA

We don't get the article images in the RSS-feed, instead we get the logo of the source of the articles, which is at the bottom of the post.

However, during the day, we get the correct images in the feed, like this: https://d.pr/free/i/xNGt3n

Also, see the attached image for the RSS feed to get an idea how it comes out wrong. Could contain: Page, Text

Why would the OG:image change during the day? How can I resolve this? I go crazy!

Only the author of your theme can tell you what would be affected on upgrade of your theme, along with custom blocks. Ad blocks that are added using our standard ad system will work the same.

It would not generally go through every post, other than rebuilding the search index if needed (which does not need to be offline for and is done as a background task). As far as "How long" is concerned, it really depends on your service provider.

Could you please elaborate on "not generally"? We have a very powerful AWS instance and database running the community, but can not risk a long downtime if it goes through asll posts and messages again.

Search index rebuilding is not an issue.

Custom blocks is not an issue either.

    Please advise.
