Love this plugin @onlyME.

Only one issue and one suggestion...

on mobile view, (iphone) the thumbnail messes up the text pagination. Reducing the size of the thumbnail makes no difference.

As for my suggestion, without the plugin the forum has a dark icon for new messages, and a lighter greyed out forum for no new messages. Is it possible that the thumbnails can be lighter greyed out when no new messages and normal when there ARE new messages?

At the moment it's a lot harder to work out which forums have new messages....

Also, when you clicked the darker icon it made all the messages read, and then went lighter.

These changes would make the plugin perfection for me....

I'm getting the same error as @Unlucky, on 4.1.11

However, scrolled up and saw that @MGeek advised to update the plugin over itself, that cured it for me @Unlucky

 

Any updates on this, are IPS silent on it?

I didn't realise that the decision I made when installing would cause so much annoyance. A lot of my users use iPhones etc. and not being able to use the inbuilt emojis annoys them. It's all about keeping user interaction pleasant. Surely it shouldn't be that hard for IPS to update their old converter?

I know they will say they have other things they need to do, but this annoys users...

I'm set to Email and administrator validation, setup a new test member, validated by email. It's waiting in ACP for admin approval, but doesn't show on my forum page. ( I set the block on my main page)

I've installed this on my 4.1.10 and it doesn't seem to work for me. Set it up, have a member waiting to be validated but nothing shows up on my block on my page.

I've cleared my cache, still no joy.

To summarise.

Install goes ok.

When I try to set the topic, I get this error...

I navigate back to forum and all looks well. The post is set as under surveilance, all looks fine, but hasn't auto followed it. If I manually follow it, all is well and everything works fine.

If I manually follow the post I get notifications, the plugin doesn't seem to auto follow the post, or notify me that the topic has been set.

Yes, that's the problem....

John Doe sets a topic, and my group is selected, I do NOT get the notification.

Sometimes it allows John Doe to set topic, others it gives this error..

but even after that error it still sets to topic, but doesn't add it to my followed posts or give a notification.

Notification and auto follow work fine for other things, just not notifications for your plugin. (for me)

I've just tried something. If I mark as RISK OF CLOSURE, I don't get a notification, only the others who have the permission to do it and follow it?

I presumed that if anyone posts another post after the warning, we'd all get a notification? Or is that not how it works?

When I tried to mark as risk of closure from another account I got this error...

Uninstalled, re-ftp'ed the files, re-installed. Same again,

I get the red warning flag on the topic list, which is nice. I also get the red box at the bottom of the post. Just not the notification.

Yes. FTP'ed them... double checked, all files present.
