Hi @HeadStand. Having difficulty including a manual message in the newsletter. I created a manual entry into the the newsletter (along with recent posts, advertisement, and other content). I then went to Manage Issues and created a new issue with today's date. If I click the preview button on the issue, I see the issue text nicely inserted into the newsletter. However, when I sent out the newsletter today, I received all the content except the manual entry. What am I doing wrong? 😫 Thanks!! *edit** I've really really tried and have not really succeeded in including manual content using manage issues. It works fine when I enter content as default content within the newsletter itself, but when I enter content in the issues section, I fail. I've read through your manual but still am unsuccessful. I'm sure it's me, but I can't find what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks Adriano. In future... a way to manually enter a specific code? Also, I have not checked yet, but is there a way to see how many people registered with a specific code? That's useful for marketing analysis.

The only file that was different was hooks/Member.php. The new file was slightly larger so maybe something did not upload the first time? Let's see if this fixes it? I overwrote the old file.

All right. Reinstalled and tested. Still not working the way — I think — it should. It could, of course, be me, but if it is then we need better instructions. I don't have time right now because I am about to go to the airport, but basically, I have it working okay if I set it to Use Global Configuration. Anything else does not work. If I set it to Open, the thread accepts tags but does not keep them when you save. If I put Closed or Prefix, I get the You are using closed system tagging but no tags have been set up, even though I do have tags set up. I'll keep trying variations on the screenshot I have attached — I have already tried multiple configurations — but so far not succeeding, sorry.

My idea was to change the whole question but not change the total number of questions. So I just tried it and it works. You can't add a question, obviously, but you can 'edit' a question and change whatever you want there. So if you want to add/delete questions to keep the quiz fresh, you can and it does not seem to affect the grades/leaderboard. For me this is good. Happy.

I'm curious. What exactly happens when I change questions in a live, already used, quiz? Imagine I have 50 questions and I want to change some of the questions each month so that that people cannot share the questions so easily. I won't change the number of questions, just the actual questions. Do the existing scores simply remain (that's what I'm hoping)? To remain fair, I would change for questions of equal difficulty. Not sure how active he is. I've asked questions a few posts up and no sign of life. I've actually had issues so for now the app is disabled. Disappointed considering the strong language of how this app would be so much better than the 'other' one. Oh well, wait and see...

Hi. If I go to Error Logs, I don't see an error for the plugin. Weird. Or should I look elsewhere? It might be a conflict. I'll PM you the system log I just found.

Hi Adriano. Bought, uploaded and when I go to edit settings, I get a Something went wrong. Please try again. Also, my profile tabs disappear completely when I enable the plugin. If I disable, they all come back. Thoughts? Thanks!

Hi. Two quickies. I think there should be the option for longer verification period. In our community, I don't need annual verification. I'd like to verify my members by postal mail by sending them a postcard with a verification code that they enter when they receive the card. Is there a workflow within your app that would let me do that relatively easily? Thanks!!

No, I don't think you misunderstood. You were spot on. I'm just saying that I found a way to use your app to solve my problem and was thanking you. I still hope that IPS understands that it's senseless to introduce a feature that does not apply to real-world usage.

For those frustrated with the IPS method of having a single calendar entry for recurring events, as per my previous rant, BUY Adriano's app, in its own way it solves the problem. The event's admin simply has to go to 'Manage Attendees' after every event and delete all attendees. The following week (or event date) you RSVP again. The only disadvantage to this is that I cannot then RSVP to an event three recurrences from now, I can only RSVP to the next one (and then the admin clears the slate for subsequent ones). In short, for my needs, your app saves me. Thanks Adriano.

Hi Adriano. My turn 😉 Recurring event: it would be nice/useful/awesome to have the ability to RSVP to just one of the recurring events. The IPS system is nuts.
