  1. Dude... He said right there that he's working on it. The application is quite complicated; give him time.
  2. I'll respond via the ticket due to the fact that the site in question is NSFW.
  3. Desktop: Google Chrome, Windows 10 and Windows 11 also tried Brave. That didn't go well at all. Mobiles: Samsung S20 Ultra, Samsung S7 Edge, Samsung S8+, Samsung A21s and various other Android devices all with Google Chrome. I have enabled it and in Chrome it reports that it will be using push notifications. Although interestingly in Brave the button is there to enable, I click on it, and nothing happens, except for it tells me that the browser will ask for X and it did, I click allow - but nothing else happens. Refresh the page, button appears again, clicked it, tells me it will ask for X - no longer does and hangs there until I refresh the page and it's repeat-ad-nausuem. Maybe Brave doesn't support it, but Google Chrome absolutely should. (All latest versions by the way) I just realised that I've kind of hijacked someone elses topic here, so perhaps this might not be the best place for it. Either way I submitted a support request to IPS via Email. So it's in their hands at the moment.
  4. +1 to that, I highly recommend @Ehren too.
  5. Thank you for the prompt and detailed response. I am in no rush; honestly. I will wait for the update. :)
  6. Doesn't seem to be working at all for me. Any ideas?
  7. I have found a rather interesting bug. When you go to the Admin Control Panel as a restricted Administrator (ACP -> Members -> Staff -> Administrators) on a user (Not sure about group) That user will get a permission error when trying to view the dashboard: 2S107/2 The page you are trying to access is not available for your account. Disabling the SpaciousACP app allows the restricted Administrator to see the dashboard; albeit vanilla. Setting the Administrator to unrestricted seems to fix it as well. The Bug? Even if you set the group - or in this case user - to restricted even if every permission box was ticked (And I mean every single one, under every tab, every expanded option, etc) it would still throw the permission error 2S107/2. The only thing that seems to affect it is setting the user in the Admin settings to "Unrestricted", it doesn't matter if it's effectively unrestricted or not. This, at least to me, doesn't seem intentional.
  8. This matter seems to have resolved itself. If I run into it again; I will come back to you with more information. It could be down to badly cached information somewhere between the site and the users in question. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly though @Adriano Faria.
  9. @Adriano Faria Since updating to the latest version, and setting the permissions through the ACP, the button appears for some members, but when they try to change their profile background they get an error box reading "You are not allowed to edit this profile". Please advise.
  10. Thank you. I can't speak for everyone, but I can say that this is what I wanted. Action and an apology. By in large I don't mind this price increase, it was a shock, admittedly, but most of that comes down to the fact that it came out of the blue when I discovered it and had no prior warning of it. But to say that you haven't had a price increase in a decade? Was it really that long ago when the Branding Removal went up to $500? I thought it was not that long ago. Either way; thank you for this. Putting it back to 6 month renewals is better for me, and hopefully a lot of other people too. My next question about support is what do we do with NSFW sites? I'm sure you don't want porn site links appearing on your forums; which is why I am very careful about linking my forums where the public can see it, going to the extent where I alter screenshots and do inspect element to change things prior to taking the screenshots so that people can't draw connections and such, when pasting screenshots publicly. Finally my last question is, are we to expect regular price increases "In line with the rate of inflation" or something annually from now on like mobile phone contracts?
  11. There is no great way of sharing the news? Maybe not, but there is an absolute disastrous way of doing it, and naturally, that's the option Invision went for. You can't defend that. I am not annoyed about the price increase - the writing has been on the wall for that for a long time, it's been a long time coming, I think most of us see that. Although I think that 55% increase more is a bit much in one go, but that's my problem and I will have to deal with it. Unexpected price increases with no advanced warning or even notice what-so-ever has just gone and dissolved a good chunk of confidence I have in IPS as a company. This is what I'm really annoyed about. This came out of the blue! There was no prior announcement (Before the fact) and only came after the fact after people started noticing which is an absolutely appalling way to deal with it. ANY form of notice after a good period of time say - 6 months (One renewal period) before the fact would have been a much better way of dealing with it. It would have given people a chance to be prepared for what was coming, to make arrangements thusly. Also the email calling this "Not bad news" - you're having a laugh, aren't you? You're right; it's not bad. It's terrible. Also not a fan of posting my problems publically, as my site is NSFW. I'm not a fan of that - at all. If most of your support tickets are "How to do X", or "How do I set X up" then you should make it clear that those questions could be asked in whatever forum you have set up. But quite often my problems, for example, are actual problems, not me asking how to do X. There was a better way of sharing the news, and as usual you picked the worst option imaginable. Your "Good-Feels Corporate Speak" doesn't change any of that. I will be seriously considering my future with IPS software, I'm not happy with being reliant on Invision Software for my site, and haven't been for a long time, this is yet another nail in the coffin for me.
  12. "we want to be as transparent as possible" So springing a wild price increase out of the blue is being as transparent as possible, is it? What utter nonsense.
  13. Looking forward to these! 😄 I can confirm that at least on my site; that this application no longer works for 4.6 as when visiting a profile it claims that the template is out of date. I know the app doesn't claim it's compatible, but I thought I'd let you know. I'm not demanding an update right this second, because I know you have lots of other applications that need your attention. For now I have just disabled it. 🙂
  14. An issue to look into with IPS 4.6.x, I know this isn't officially compatible but I thought I'd report it nonetheless. If you have push notifications enabled, it doesn't seem to like it. I get: With a stack trace of: #0 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Notification/Notification.php(901): IPS\_Notification->sendPushNotifications(Array) #1 /home/SITE/public_html/init.php(902) : eval()'d code(27): IPS\_Notification->send() #2 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/core/sources/Messenger/Message.php(197): IPS\deactivation_hook_blockNotifications->send() #3 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Content/Comment.php(230): IPS\core\Messenger\_Message->sendNotifications() #4 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/core/sources/Messenger/Message.php(150): IPS\Content\_Comment::create(Object(IPS\core\Messenger\Conversation), '<p>\n\tLila gaspe...', false, NULL, NULL, Object(IPS\Member), NULL, NULL, NULL) #5 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Content/Item.php(4776): IPS\core\Messenger\_Message::create(Object(IPS\core\Messenger\Conversation), '<p>\n\tLila gaspe...', false, NULL, NULL, Object(IPS\Member), NULL, NULL, NULL) #6 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Content/Item.php(4575): IPS\Content\_Item->processCommentForm(Array) #7 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Theme/Theme.php(860) : eval()'d code(414): IPS\Content\_Item->commentForm() #8 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Theme/SandboxedTemplate.php(61): IPS\Theme\class_core_front_messaging->conversation(Object(IPS\core\Messenger\Conversation), Array) #9 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/core/modules/front/messaging/messenger.php(431): IPS\Theme\_SandboxedTemplate->__call('conversation', Array) #10 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(101): IPS\core\modules\front\messaging\_messenger->manage() #11 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Content/Controller.php(50): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #12 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/core/modules/front/messaging/messenger.php(71): IPS\Content\_Controller->execute() #13 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\core\modules\front\messaging\_messenger->execute() #14 /home/SITE/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #15 {main} I mention it here because of line 3 (#2) with the deactivation hook.
  15. Hello @Makoto, firstly I wanted to thank you for fixing the merged members bug in a very timely fashion. That seems to have done the trick and things are working on that end now. Unfortunately I need to report a return of an old bug that I first reported to you via Discord many moons ago. There seems to be a problem when viewing the IP Address History of a deactivated member. Either on the ModCP end, or in the AdminCP. When you try to do so, the system log records the following error and the page doesn't display: Error: Call to a member function getTimestamp() on int (0) #0 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Member/Member.php(2398): IPS\deactivation\extensions\core\IpAddresses\_Requests->findByMember(Object(IPS\Member)) #1 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/core/modules/admin/members/members.php(2081): IPS\_Member->ipAddresses() #2 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(90): IPS\core\modules\admin\members\_members->ip() #3 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(152): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #4 /home/SITE/public_html/ACP/index.php(14): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #5 {main} #0 /home/SITE/public_html/init.php(995): IPS\_Log::log('Error: Call to ...', 'uncaught_except...') #1 [internal function]: IPS\IPS::exceptionHandler(Object(Error)) #2 {main} This isn't a major issue, but a fix would be appreciated, as always. Kind regards, take care and stay safe.
  16. Absolutely this. Things happen, even to big name brands. Take just recently for example, a major brand webhost had such an incident where they had a data centre in France get completely decimated in a fire, which caused outages to millions of websites.
  17. I can confirm that as of 2.0.7, this is still broken for me at least. I think it may have something to do with the fact that I had tried to set the FURL from "membersshop" to something else for branding purposes, a while back within the ACP. I'm not sure. But this still doesn't work, unfortunately.
  18. Actually, as someone who's done this before (And realised very quickly) this is absolutely a fair point.
  19. IPS generally don't recommend changing the ACP location, from conversations I've had with them in the past, and when I've tried to pin them down on as to why, I don't recall ever getting a satisfactory answer. Maybe someone at IPS can comment. But with that said and out of the way, what you need to do is to rename the ACP folder (I think it's called "admin") and then in your "constraints.php" file which you can find in your installation root folder you need to add/modify the following the line replacing "ACP_FOLDER_NAME" with the name of the folder you've just renamed: define( 'CP_DIRECTORY', 'ACP_FOLDER_NAME' ); That should be as far as I am aware, all that is required.
  20. I've noticed a problem if you try to merge to accounts together where one of them was at some point or currently is deactivated: UPDATE `deactivation_members` deactivation_members SET `0`='member_id=5847',`1`=8305 WHERE member_id=? IPS\Db\Exception: Unknown column '0' in 'field list' (1054) #0 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Db/Db.php(1161): IPS\_Db->preparedQuery('/*SITE_DATABASENAME...', Array) #1 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/deactivation/sources/Deactivation/Deactivation.php(459): IPS\_Db->update('`deactivation_m...', '`0`=?,`1`=?', 'WHERE member_id...') #2 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/deactivation/extensions/core/MemberSync/MemberSync.php(28): IPS\deactivation\_Deactivation::memberSyncMerge(Object(IPS\Member), Object(IPS\Member)) #3 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Member/Member.php(3992): IPS\deactivation\extensions\core\MemberSync\_MemberSync->onMerge(Object(IPS\Member), Object(IPS\Member)) #4 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Member/Member.php(4026): IPS\_Member->memberSync('onMerge', Array) #5 /home/SITE/public_html/init.php(893) : eval()'d code(90): IPS\_Member->merge(Object(IPS\Member)) #6 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/core/modules/admin/members/members.php(2652): IPS\hook4599->merge(Object(IPS\Member)) #7 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(90): IPS\core\modules\admin\members\_members->merge() #8 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(152): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #9 /home/SITE/public_html/ACP/index.php(14): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #10 {main} With: #0 /home/SITE/public_html/init.php(995): IPS\_Log::log('UPDATE `deactiv...', 'uncaught_except...') #1 [internal function]: IPS\IPS::exceptionHandler(Object(IPS\Db\Exception)) #2 {main} The account will be then looped when they try to access it to "site.tld/register/?do=validating" where they will be told: Sorry, there is a problem Your account does not require validation Sorry, there is a problem If I try to do the same thing again on another account with this application disabled, it works fine.
  21. I'm not sure what's going on but since updating to IPS 4.5.4.5 and updating this application to the latest version, it is no longer automatically sending out PMs to those that have duplicate accounts.
  22. So when viewing the status on the actual profile, it works as intended. Also it works across the site as intended too. It's just this block for the widget. My site is NSFW, so would you like a full screenshot sent via PM, or a link to it?
  23. @InvisionHQ - I've found something worthy of note for the Moods plugin. It seems that in the support centre, it says that there is a problem with the database. Upon clicking it, I am presented with this: Should I run that query?
  24. Hello Makoto, I really appreciate your quick response. My webhost is currently investigating the issue as well, but I will be in contact with you shortly with the details. To answer your question; I am using the latest IPS (4.5.4.5) I did have the ATP application, active (Enabled), a move that I am regretting right now. I installed your application today and the moment it finished installing (as far as I can tell) it just carked it with an Error 500, site wide. Leaving me unable to do anything else. I will contact you shortly with FTP access details. Edit: I am unable to send you a message on here, @Makoto
  25. I have Advanced Tags and Prefexes, and I was going to transfer them over to this. However upon installing Radical Tags today it's completely killed my site. I'm getting error 500s and I'm unable to do anything including in the ACP.
