The subscription manager is going to be turned into a community project after 3.0 final is released, I doubt this feature will be added before that happens. I believe all IPS is doing with the subscription manager for 3.0 is making it work with 3.0, I don't think they're bothering to add anything new to it.

I think it should go on the same row that the twitter button appears. But I'm glad it's there, been missing that feature.

The twitter row is designed for any custom BBcodes you've added, it disappears if you remove/disable the twitter BBcode's image. So I don't know if that would be the best place for them.

There's still space by the undo/redo buttons though, and that's where they were located in 2.x, so maybe they should be put back up there.

Just seems like a real waste of space, and it doesn't exactly look very pretty...

your stickies and announcements are important. If they are all jumbled up then the forum looks untidy.

Then don't have a ton of announcements, if you avoid having a ton of announcements in each forum then there's really no need for them to have weight at all. :P

some announcements are greater than others, it's time to put the js listing in the ACP to the front

but if u dont need then dont use, let other have the feature

And how many people want something like this? I mean if only 10% of people want something then it's not worth adding just to please those 10%, this is something that I think would really be best left as a mod. I really don't think a lot of people need this, so I can't see IPS adding it anyways.

I don't really see a point to this, you really wouldn't need this unless you have a ton of stickies, and having too many stickies is generally something you should try to avoid.

Well, this forum is for suggestions and feedback, 2.3.6 isn't going to be updated any more and this is basically already a feature in 3.0.

If you want to ask how to add this in an older version you need to have active support and post in the peer to peer support forums.

The image next to the sub-forum already tells you this, it really doesn't need to be made bold.

And the 2.0 software has not been available for many years now. It's extremely buggy, insecure, and outdated.

I'm pretty sure that they aren't going to release it on a Friday, and I believe the official date for RC 2's release is "Soon", because apparently all the "When it's ready

If i recall correctly several staff have commented that they don't think the feature is accurate and don't really think it's worth adding. One of them did however bring up the idea that if they add thread tagging in a later version they may add a "Similarly Tagged Topics" feature since that would be more accurate than a similar topics feature.

Either way, it's not going to be in 3.0.

The blog post clearly says no, they won't upgrade your board for you until the final release of IPB 3.

I can say it's coming soon. As of right now it's been 2 weeks + 3 days. It's not like we're 3 months off from the estimate. ;) He did say "or so" which you should interpret to mean "plus or minus a week roughly".

1. You can assign skins based on user agents, and there are skin permissions for each goup, but you can't force a skin for a group if that's what you're asking for.
2. You should really make sure something's not already a feature before you suggest it. :P

My only suggestion is to add the AJAX mark forum read thingy for subforum bullets as well.

This IPB3 skin is not good

Will there be a better looking skin for IPB 3? because this one is not that good. Its not easy to read the main page and forums description.

If you aren't even going to say what's so bad about the skin then there's no point to this thread.

All it means is that they have a working copy of it just for IPS ... it doesn't mean that the actual release date is close ...
