fileo Posted December 13 Posted December 13 Hello, in Version 4 User could choose which Forum Index to use. What is with Version 5. Can other users choose Table, Grid, Fluid or Feed Forum Index? Because somebody sent me a private message and told that he did not like Grid Option.
Hatsu Posted December 13 Posted December 13 It seems the option is gone for the user. You can only set it on a global level in your theme. As a workaround you could create two themes.

Hatsu Posted December 13 Posted December 13 I know what you meant. But the option is simply not there. So my guess is v5 doesn't have it.
teraßyte Posted December 13 Posted December 13 It's a theme setting now. Users can no longer choose. What you can do instead is create a new theme for each layout option. You'll need 3 separate themes: Table Grid Fluid Mick23 1
Mick23 Posted December 13 Posted December 13 (edited) If it helps your users @fileo, I will be naming my themes along these lines to make them more aligned with "modern" terminology: Traditional (table) Visual (grid) Social Feed (fluid) Edited December 13 by Mick23

So if you have 5 different themes, you need 15 of that workaround. 🤦🏻♂️ Feneroin 1

Solution Jimi Wikman Posted December 17 Solution Posted December 17 Users can set that in their content preferences if you allow that. Marc 1

fileo Posted December 17 Author Posted December 17 That s good, but Admin has to explain every step how to do. So, like in V4 is better
