Invision Community 5: A video walkthrough creating a custom theme and homepage By Matt Thursday at 04:02 PM
PoC2 Posted August 19 Posted August 19 I've a couple of 'Promoted Items' that aren't showing up in the 'Manage Promoted Items' section of my Admin Settings – so I can't delete them. Others I can but a couple seem to be stuck as they don't show up on the 'Manage' list. (Don't know why, but there you go.) My question is: If I delete the entries directly in the database (via table: _core_social_promote) – will it crash/cause errors on my site? Many thanks from any who know.
Jim M Posted August 19 Posted August 19 We do not recommend running manual queries on your database, nor do we support it. All I can say is that if you do choose to run them, make sure you take a full backup of your environment. If you can point me to the records which you cannot delete, we can review and see if this is a bug or manually resolve it for you.
Solution PoC2 Posted August 19 Author Solution Posted August 19 Thank you. I will send in a support request. Cheers!

PoC2 Posted Thursday at 08:54 AM Author Posted Thursday at 08:54 AM Thank you. 🙂 I'm only asking now because it's becoming a bit awkward not being able to promote posts properly and I'm having to apologise to site members. Will keep an eye out!
