Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted December 14, 20231 yr Recently upgraded my CDN to a more powerful one only to find out they only accept 'www.' domains. So I went ahead and added a www. redirect from my domain provider, then changed the base_url in conf_global.php. Eventually got the website up and running and even changed my license key URL however seems like half of the website is working and the other half is not. For example in admin panel, the icons are not just not visible ( just squares ), people also are not able to register. However other things like pages and images / videos are loading when browsing around. Any advice would be great, already tried clearing cache too.
December 14, 20231 yr Have you cleared the site cache in ACP after updating the conf_global.php file? Or did you clear only your browser cache? This guide is about changing the site from HTTP to HTTPS, but adding the www part is basically the same: Edited December 14, 20231 yr by teraßyte
December 15, 20231 yr It does indeed sound like a cache issue you have there, so try the above first of all. If you are then still having problems, please update your access details on file, so I can take a look and see what I can see
