Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Jordan Lasswell Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 I installed a plugin and once I went to try to use it the whole website basically deleted it's self because all pages are only showing a blank white page even the admin panel. So I have no access to my site. Please help!
teraßyte Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 What plugin did you install? It's possible that it's not compatible with PHP 8, or maybe you're on an older Invision Community version and the plugin requires a newer version to work.
Jordan Lasswell Posted October 15, 2023 Author Posted October 15, 2023 I tried installing the roles color plugin

DawPi Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 (edited) And you have 4.2 or 4.3 IPS4 version, right? 😇 Try recovery mode, go to ACP and disable/uninstall that plugin then. Edited October 15, 2023 by DawPi
Jordan Lasswell Posted October 15, 2023 Author Posted October 15, 2023 Funny thing is I have no access to the terminal since it's a blank white screen like all of the rest of them. Like I have no access at all to the site. All pages only show up as a blank white page.

Most likely this is an incompatible issue between the plugin and your forum/php version. Trying the recovery mode should bring your forum back. If that won't work for some reason, you can try to uninstall that plugin manually. For future reference, make sure that any thrid party stuff that you install is fully compatible with your forum version.
Jim M Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 As the user is on Cloud, we have resolved this for them via the ticket they submitted. The plugin wasn't compatible with the release so we uninstalled it. Miss_B 1

The best way would be to ask in the plugins/apps support topics or contact their developers directly and ask them what version are they compatible with. Edited October 15, 2023 by Miss_B
