Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted October 14, 20231 yr I installed a plugin and once I went to try to use it the whole website basically deleted it's self because all pages are only showing a blank white page even the admin panel. So I have no access to my site. Please help!
October 15, 20231 yr What plugin did you install? It's possible that it's not compatible with PHP 8, or maybe you're on an older Invision Community version and the plugin requires a newer version to work.

October 15, 20231 yr And you have 4.2 or 4.3 IPS4 version, right? 😇 Try recovery mode, go to ACP and disable/uninstall that plugin then. Edited October 15, 20231 yr by DawPi
October 15, 20231 yr Author Funny thing is I have no access to the terminal since it's a blank white screen like all of the rest of them. Like I have no access at all to the site. All pages only show up as a blank white page.

Most likely this is an incompatible issue between the plugin and your forum/php version. Trying the recovery mode should bring your forum back. If that won't work for some reason, you can try to uninstall that plugin manually. For future reference, make sure that any thrid party stuff that you install is fully compatible with your forum version.
October 15, 20231 yr As the user is on Cloud, we have resolved this for them via the ticket they submitted. The plugin wasn't compatible with the release so we uninstalled it.
October 15, 20231 yr Author Thank you for fixing the issue just have one more question. How do I purchase the one that will work since you guys shutdown the marketplace?

The best way would be to ask in the plugins/apps support topics or contact their developers directly and ask them what version are they compatible with. Edited October 15, 20231 yr by Miss_B
