We are having difficulty with the drop down menu on the pages/databases section of our site, which is the front page.
The drop down menus do not work, and neither does the theme selector.  They work fine elsewhere.

The only changes to the theme are additional ad placements.  However, we've tried a completely stock theme, and the same issue happens.

The site is https://ballofspray.com/

When logged in the main menu on the home page links to https://ballofspray.com/#elUserLink_menu

From mobile, it just goes to https://ballofspray.com/# (nowhere)

There are a few Javascript errors on your homepage. If you have any custom Javascript there and not on the other pages, this would indeed be the issue here.

I placed no custom JavaScript on the site. Not in the templates or anywhere else.

You have tons of ads and whatever on your page, I guess they are the problem.

I haven't taken a closer look because I closed it after not even 10 seconds like I usually do with such ad-infested sites.

Custom would be anything that is not a part of our core Javascript so this would include advertisement codes, tracking codes, etc...

How do I escalate my help request? The menu is only broken on the articles page / my home. My developer ( who I have faith in ) has hit the wall on this issue.

Unfortunately, you will need to remove the custom JavaScript and eliminate the current errors before we can assist further. Please keep in mind, customizations are outside our scope of support and we only support the core product. Please let us know once that is done and I can investigate further.

Understood.

@Jim M Below is the reply from my dev.

There is no custom javascript on the pages.  The ads are inserted via Invision's ad manager, and are standard image uploads with a click URL - they are not script ad tag inserts.  And with a stock theme, the problem happens.

We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.

We look forward to further assisting you.

Funny. My dev says he has not touched it either but now it works. I love technology.
