Posted February 26, 20223 yr I would declare this as a bug, otherwise please move to feature suggestion. If a deactivated plugin is being upgraded it automatically enables afterwards. It has a reason if I disable a plugin and shouldn't be reactivated by the system itself.
February 26, 20223 yr I think this is by design. Theoretically you wouldn’t update a plug-in that you don’t use.
