Firefox cannot upload attachments

We updated to 4.6.8 yesterday and we noticed that when Firefox is used, the user cannot upload attachments. The user gets an Error code: -200. When the same user user changes to using Chrome on the same device, they can upload without issue. Any advice to correct this would be greatly appreciated.

The "-200" error code from uploading generally comes from an error processing on your server. Did they upload the same exact image file in both browsers? Unfortunately, this is not something I can reproduce directly here.

Yes the same image was used in both browsers.

Not sure if this is related, but I sometimes got this and it was due to Mod_Security. So, it may be worth checking any logs there?

Are you able to reproduce this every time with any image?

I've tested with a 4 kb gif file, a 185 kb jpg, and a 4.3 MB jpg. Chrome uploads them all without fail. Firefox looks like it is trying to upload but it eventually gives the -200 error.

Could you please check to ensure you dont have enhanced tracking protection switched on in the browser, and then try again

I turned off Enhanced tracking protection for our site. I am still unable to upload attachments. I am using version 94.0.1 of Firefox.

Do you have any extensions/plugins on the browser? Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this on my own test install with this version of Firefox. Would also recommend disabling any third party applications/plugins on your community to completely test against our core software.

Now it works with our custom theme. So I have no idea what was going on this morning. 🤔

Maybe a cache issue or something going on in that browser. Hard to say. At least it's working for you now. Please let us know if it comes back.
