BradTBP
Is it possible to manually increase a members reaction count? I give 10/day for the member group, but individuals want to buy extra. I thought I saw it could be done, but now I cannot find it. Thank you.
Afrodude
The only way to do that is by creating a new group add the right amount you want to give to this member. Turn off "Allow filtering by this group?", and then add this new group as a secondary group to that member. Nathan Explosion
Or you could just go to the user's account in the ACP and...
BradTBP
Thanks, but I think that sets their reputation (reactions received). I want to increase a member's inventory of reactions to give. As @Afrodude points out, the only way I can see is to use another member group and that does get messy for one-off purchases. Thanks @Afrodude. Any other possibilities?

It wouldn't get messy at all. Just disable the setting I mentioned above in order that new group wouldn't show anywhere. Also, you never know you might have more members follow this member and wanted to buy more giving reactions, so having it as secondary group is the only solution. Marc
Limitations on the number of reactions that can be given per day can only be done at the group level. The correct way to do this would indeed be to add a secondary group which has those higher permissions, as you would with any other permission.
