Posted June 25, 20213 yr How can you enable rating without downloading the files? So that users can rate between 1 to 5 stars?
June 27, 20213 yr Author That's for review and not rating bud. I don't want users to review the file but just rate it i.e. stars 1 to 5 depending on their like and dislike.

File model doesn't extends \IPS\Content\Ratings as Topic model does. "Stars ratings" in Downloads is tied to the rating system. The only app, AFAIK, that allows use both system is Pages in database records. Still, Ratings won't work if you allow Reviews in the DB.

No. Rating also works for Blogs and if I enable Reviews, rating works fine. 😞
