Fast Lane! Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 We are leaving a lot on the table without this. IP Pages is ripe for being amp ready. Blogs too. sobrenome, SammyS, SeNioR- and 2 others 2 3
SeNioR- Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 I agree with you. Originally, the AMP solution was intended for media sites. Google wanted to help news stories come up almost instantly from the search results. Over time, AMP has spread to other types of sites - particularly advertisers, ad-technology platforms and e-commerce sites as well as publishers. What is Google AMP? AMP is an open source project designed to help web publishers create mobile-optimized content that loads instantly on all devices, according to Google. "We want webpages with rich content like video, animations and graphics to work alongside smart ads, and to load instantaneously. We also want the same code to work across multiple platforms and devices so that content can appear everywhere in an instant — no matter what type of phone, tablet or mobile device you're using." - Google says.
Maxxius Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Count me in. Forums got to use every trick and advantage known to man to gain advantage over all other sites 😄
Thomas P Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 I am not so sure about amp pages since they are mostly (not all) just black and white text and they don't tend to engage new members, it's more for news related articles/one pagers imo.
