Bitlab Media Group Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Is there a way to lock out a member? Leave their account open. But disable it or something so they can not access it? Thanks, ~saraJ

Adriano Faria Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Change the user to a group without access to the board (that’s an option of groups).

Ya trying different things. Don't want to ban them. Made a group with no site access, but says banned. Access to board, ok i will see how that looks. Thought there might be something more direct per 1 user - like under account actions.

You could give him a warning and suspend him from accessing the site (That's what I meant with ban him)
Adriano Faria Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 There isn’t. Maybe create a new group and remove all permissions from it (Forums, Gallery, Downloads, etc.), category per category. They won’t see a thing but won’t see a banned message. 🤷🏻♂️

Bitlab Media Group Posted January 31, 2020 Author Posted January 31, 2020 ok posting this question under this thread, as is in the same regard. how do i block a user from joining from a paticular IP? thanks!
bfarber Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 You can use the "Ban Filters" in the adminCP to block specific IP addresses.

GlenP Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 They are different settings. If you search the ACP for non-registrable you can add an IP address in there. That will remain even if you delete an account and all the personal data including IP addresses used.
