Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
CoffeeCake Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 When using Twitter emoji, it seems that the emoji selector has to reload every image every time, at a ridiculously slow rate. Is this just something with our configuration or is this the norm?

On each editor load you need to reload all images, yes.
AlexWebsites Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I switched to native emojis because of it. Twitter was taking way too long to load.
CoffeeCake Posted January 5, 2020 Author Posted January 5, 2020 That's insane! I don't understand why it would need to be that way. Here's a project I found that looks similar to what we have that loads instantaneously: https://emojipanel.js.org/ Why can we not implement it like this?

CoffeeCake Posted January 5, 2020 Author Posted January 5, 2020 It'd be a nice option to have native emoji in the picker and Twitter emoji on the content in the alternative. Not ideal, nor should it be default behavior.
