tonyv Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Who can see anonymously logged in users in the online users list? I know regular members can't see anonymously logged in users. On the other hand, as Root admin, I can see any of my users who are logged in anonymously. Who else can? For example, if I log in anonymously, can my moderators see me in the online users list? I can't find a setting or explanation for this anywhere in the ACP. (As for the settings I have enabled, all user groups except Guests can see my online user list, but only I see IP the addresses.)
Mark H Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Users logged in anonymously can only be seen by Administrators.
tonyv Posted January 24, 2019 Author Posted January 24, 2019 Just now, Mark H said: Users logged in anonymously can only be seen by Administrators. Thanks, Mark. Does that mean all administrators? I have an member in a group called Administrators, but this member is really an admin in name only. He's really more like a moderator in some sections and doesn't have access to any part of the ACP; all toggles for ACP access as far as this "admin" goes are set to off. Can this admin see anonymously logged in users or is it only admins who have ACP access?
Mark H Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 If he is listed on the ACP -> Members -> Staff, Administrators page, either by Group or by individual name, then he would be able to see all anonymously logged in members. If he's not listed there then no, he would not see them.
