Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Willie88 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Hey, is there any way to restrict user groups to use the subscriptions? Like it could do it before in the commerce?
Willie88 Posted October 30, 2018 Author Posted October 30, 2018 Is there any way to set these permissions on single subscription plans?
Chris027 Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I'd love this as well. We offer subscriptions to our users, but we also offer subscriptions to advertisers. The advertiser subscriptions are created specifically for each advertiser and should only be viewed by the advertisers user account. Currently we use products that renew monthly in the store, not the Subscription Plans area. I'd love to use the Subscription Plans part of Commerce to do this, but I can't expose all the advertisers' subscription options to all the users who aren't advertisers. Ideally, I'd create a Subscription Plan and specify a user or group that can see the plan. Question: Is there a way to do this using Subscription Plans?
Joel R Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 No, you would need to offer them as Commerce products which have per product permissions. Products can work the same exact way as Subscriptions and offer more options.

The subscription product is specifically made to allow switching, not to offer different subscriptions to different member groups.
