Mack_au Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Hi, I wanted to split off some posts into an existing topic, after selecting the posts to move over to the new thread, it would tell me "You do not have permission to moderate that topic". Obviously as the admin, I should have permission to do whatever I want. Anyone else run into this issue? I'm not even sure how to even try fixing it.
Joel R Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Go to ACP > Members > Moderators and review your moderator permissions. There may be a setting accidentally disabled.
Mack_au Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 My admin group is set to unrestricted. I've never had any other moderator function locked out like this before :S
Robert Angle Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 I can vouch for this. I'm having the same problem.

Seems you are an admin but not in the group of moderators.

My only other though is that I will have to DELETE the database article so that the forum topic is no longer associated with it, then merge the posts, and then COPY TO DATABASE all over again. Seems like a bunch of unnecessary hoops to have to jump through, and even then I don't know for sure that it'll work.
