Where do I find "announcements"

Where do I find the place to create announcements?

There's a link in the create menu and you can also create them in your ModeratorCP

 

If you don't see the link, please review your Moderator Permissions and make sure that you have permissions to manage announcements.

I clicked to "forums" and everyone", but I cannot see my announcement...

The announcements appear, wherever you put the announcement widget.

Have you dragged the announcement widget on your site and are the announcement settings so that it would appear on this spot?

You can see it in the moderator CP.

 

No, I didn`t know that I need a separate widget for announcements.

Do I have to buy one or is it hidden somewhere in my admin-area?

No. It’s in the front-end block manager.

I just set up the forums and that was it.

Is there a guide/videos somewhere, where I see all the different features? I feel like wasting your time

You just click the triangle on the left side of the screen when visiting the site as admin.

Admin account must have moderator permissions in ACP to use Block Manager.  Usually your main admin account will have this permission.

You will see a small arrow on left hand side of screen, which opens up the clock manager.
