Is it possible to change ownership of calendar content? If so where and how?

Not through the interface, but can you explain what you need this for exactly? Maybe there's another solution.

Some kind of event ran by a member and wants to let someone else run it/update the first post. Changing the member ID for the topic/first post in the database seems to work fine.

This has been an issue whenever a long-standing thread created by a member whose account has been removed still sees activity. If from a moderation standpoint the OP can be changed (or perhaps default to the primary administrator when a thread by a deleted member remains), that would be handy I would think and not require an addon.

How is this done?

Manual manipulation of the DB, which is never advised as a proper solution.

Exactly!

I can make a plugin to you. Send a PM so we can talk about it.
