Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Bluedrake42 Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Like Humble Bundle, or Bandcamp. Is there any option, either from IPS or the marketplace, that allows for this? Let me know if there is. Cheers!
Joel R Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 No, but this has been suggested before. The closest you'll get is Donation (which conceptually is the same as pay what you want). Once 4.3 is released, you can connect to WordPress which will connect to WooCommerce.
jair101 Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Bumping this again, as it was suggested and discussed few times before. This can bring incredible value to subscriptions as well - it is always difficult to price subscriptions, make it too expensive and people won't subscribe, make it too cheap and you might be losing revenue. I don't mind making the subscription price "pay what you want" style and I believe it will be more beneficial. There is difference with donations - for donations you don't get something back (usually), with subscriptions you get the premium perks. What I want is the option to have the member themselves decide how much value they put on these premium perks. In any case it will bring an extra flexibility to the software that will definitely be useful to many.
