  1. Our site's S3 service appears to be messed up... and I'm really struggling to resolve it. Is there anyone that can give us support directly that has experience with S3? I am happy to pay for the help. Feel free to just message me. Cheers!
  2. https://drakelings.bluedrake42.com/ Don't know why but every time I try to upload a screenshot I get one of two errors. 3. Never had an issue with standard license keys, no.
  4. I think the issue is when you have too many people attempting to buy a key at the same time. If you'd like I can give you access to our backend, perhaps you can see what is going on there. We were doing key giveaways with a free store item, and so many people rushed to purchase it at the same time... I believe it overloaded and this happened somehow. Let me know whatever you need to fix this, access or otherwise. I'll help you get it fixed. This is the only thing in the way of this application being a 5 star rating for us.
  5. There is a bug which causes invoices to be created infinitely. Would appreciate this being fixed as quickly as possible.
This application has a memory leak which infinitely creates invoices and eventually crashes the forum. This needs to be fixed.
  6. Would it be possible to have an option where linking your Patreon to an IPS account is permanent? Or only allow administrators to disconnect an account? We have an issue with users linking their Patreon account, redeeming all their rewards, unlinking the account, creating a new account on our website, linking their Patreon account again, and then redeeming all their rewards twice. If we had a system that made linking your Patreon account a permanent action (unless an administrator intervenes) that would solve this issue. Would this be possible?
  7. I mean I'll be pretty straight forward. https://teardownmods.com/ I run this site that allows users to upload modifications for a game called Teardown. We run ads on the site using Google Ads. It would be awesome if there was some native functionality where users could get account credit from page views, or possibly even account credit directly from Google Ads analytics regarding the monetization performance of their page. Things like this is what takes websites from being just a normal web page, into a full blown self-perpetuating economy. Edit: We were looking at doing something integrated with the Member Shop plugin from the marketplace, but I think I'd rather wait for a cleaner implementation.
  8. So one thing we're working on currently is to build revenue sharing features into our website. Google Ads allow for revenue sharing with members, but requires a lengthy application process to acquire the Google Ads Host API which we're currently in the process of doing. I'm wondering if there is any interest from the IPS team to natively implement the ability to track and share revenue from advertisements with members using the commerce system? Perhaps there is another solution for this that I haven't encountered yet?
  9. Not a bad idea, but I'd really like each project be domain-specific. So for instance one club would be for one game with its own domain (or sub domain) and another club would be for another game, also with its own domain (or sub domain.) I don't think that is possible to do with clubs. Goofy I know but... having clean domains for each of the games we support is really important to us.
  10. I found a solution using oauth and creating oauth clients! I guess its not the same thing as having fully integrated sites, but I guess it works for now! I wish it was possible to just have a modular site so we could have multiple domains all powered by the same universal IPS hub. I don't know if that is possible. Basically we run file download sites, and we have to keep making new IPS sites for each "HUB" but I wish it was possible to just have one single IPS site with multiple file download modules for each domain. Maybe someday?
  11. Hi, I run multiple websites powered by IPS. Does anyone know if there is an option to allow my site registrations to share a single database? I'd like to have a single sign-in for all my users across all websites if that's possible. Any ideas?
  12. Can we limit paid files only to specific categories at least?
  13. I don't know if this is possible... but we are wanting to create two sections of the website that both have downloads. However one section of the site will exclusively be free downloads, and the other section of the site will paid downloads. Is this possible?
  14. Awesome! Very exciting, thanks! I guess I'll just be waiting for that then =)
  15. Oh interesting... is 4.5 released yet? I thought it hasn't been released.
  16. Hi! I was just hoping to get some insight into this... We have a development blog, and we were hoping to begin importing our Steam announcements into our community blog. However whenever a blog is imported from an external RSS... it doesn't include an image for the thumbnail (which looks very jarring) Does IPS have the ability to set RSS feeds to import an image (or use a default image) for blog thumbnails? If so I think that would help a lot! Thanks for any help!

Would it be possible to use field values for tags and prefixes when allowing form tags or prefixes, or when creating a topic using a form?
  18. I just wanted to update everyone who is also having the same problem on this. We've recently decided to begin using Donor Box, and it is exactly what we have been looking for. It is very lightweight, integrates with Stripe and Paypal directly, and also has support for custom API connections. Which means it can still technically be linked to an IPS community forum, with a little effort. Users enter their credit card information, and subscriptions are active by default. It also has support for both one time and recurring donations. For anyone who is also having this issue and looking for a solution, I believe we may have found ours here. https://donorbox.org/ Cheers!
  19. Well I think we've had trouble communicating exactly what I was wanting from the beginning of all this, but to sum up... I don't really mind which solution I use (either Stripe or IPS's internal soluton) as long as I'm able to find a solution that allows us to do what we need. However I understand your points, and your perspective makes sense. I've already had a third party developer create a plugin that does what you describe (you might already be aware of that) however ultimately if it isn't a native solution... I just don't think it will work out very well. It breaks with updates, and never really worked cleanly... and what we need most for a checkout process is for everything to be clean. So creating a custom plugin isn't really an option I think. We had a plugin which forced the tick box to be selected... yet still somehow when people went through checkout, the card still wasn't saved. I'll think about your feedback, and figure out where to go from there. I understand your points on fraud, and that definitely is a legitimate concern. It is something we've dealt with as well, although we had issues with users attempting to file charge-backs in order to steal digital product keys... so a slightly different more malicious practice. Would be nice if there was just a credit card solution similar to Paypal billing agreements. I don't mind Paypal billing agreements, but it seems like only allowing Paypal loses us a considerable number of potential supporters who prefer credit card.
  20. Here is Stripe's documentation on how to set something like this up. https://stripe.com/docs/recipes/subscription-signup This is all I need. I just need a payment processing gateway option for IPS that allows me to use this native functionality.
  21. I appreciate this answer, and it's the most in-depth and comprehensive answer I've gotten on this topic so far. So I appreciate that, and your feelings on the matter make sense. However with that said, Stripe has it's own support for recurring payments. Stripe's recurring payments system has all the support I need, and was the system I used previously (before I moved to IPS) to accept recurring payments. If IPS isn't interested in supporting automated recurring payments in the way I need... why am I not allowed to use Stripe's own recurring payments solution? I'm not as much frustrated that IPS doesn't support what I want... but that it is specifically barring me from using Stripe's native functionality that does. I actually still have a few legacy subscriptions from users who still support our community through this system before we switched to IPS. I understand you disagree with handling recurring credit card subscriptions like this... but I don't really understand why it's a matter of how anyone feels about it. My account is approved for subscriptions through Stripe, just as it is approved for billing agreements with Paypal. Why do you not have support for Stripe subscriptions? If you don't want to support the features I want... why am I not allowed to use other services that do? I don't really understand this. I'm not asking you to add features you don't want to add. I'm asking you to please let us use native features of our existing payment processors that do what you don't want to do. You wouldn't have to store credit care information, or handle anything in regards to a user... it would all be handled by Stripe. How does that implicate IPS at all? How is that any different from Paypal billing agreements? If I am already approved to use these features by Stripe... why is it IPS's concern whether I should be able to use it?
  22. Oh I see... So I'm primarily interested in using this for the webhook integration, but I really want to use it for multiple servers. Do you think you could develop a webhook integration to support multiple servers? I have multiple projects that I'd like to forward our support and suggestion threads to their respective servers. Also could you implement a functionality to also push updates for each forum post, not just new topics? That'd be great. Just let me know!
