Running IPBoard on Windows Server IIS

Recommended Posts

I have, and a close friend of mine has too, without any issues. I cannot imagine it is too different from running on any other web server or platform (I've used apache2 on Linux before as well, without issues). As long as IIS and PHP are installed on the machine, and you either have MySQL installed on the same machine, or a remote machine with it, it's usually as simple as uploading the files to a web server directory, making the appropriate directories/files writable as instructed by the "System Check" during IPS installation, and going from there. :)

Hope that helps.
