Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Patralli Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Okay. This is going to seem weird. I am unable to put descriptions in forums or in any other item on my site. I have attached images below. This is a fresh install. I have never seen anything like this before. It is forcing me to choose a file instead of allowing me to input text. So I went to the Post settings and disabled attachments. I still am unable to post however, it still is forcing me to choose a file even though I have media disabled.
steve00 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 As you say ... weird. All can suggest is (as is a fresh install) to delete everything including database and start again (re-download suite and use that in case of a corrupted file) or create support ticket
Nathan Explosion Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Send me a link to your site, along with user credentials to log in to the front-end - I'll take a look before you do the above, as it might be something in the browser blocking ckeditor from loading.
Patralli Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 Turns out it was a Database issue that caused it. Thankfully it was a fresh install and nothing was on it.
Morgin Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 Having this same issue after upgrading to 4.2.6
Numbered Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 ACP -> Support tool -> Something works wrong - didn't solve that?
Morgin Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Rocket Loader with cloudflare turned out to be the culprit with me. It was blocking the ckeditor javascript.
